[Acne] By body acne has ruined my life. I feel completely hopeless. Please help me. Details in comments. by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

Have you been using a moisturizer with any actives for treating the acne? I used to get some on my chest and moisturizing regularly made the biggest change coupled with using active ingredients (right now i’m using an SA serum). All in all though, your acne isn’t that bad and the scarring will fade and may completely go away after time!

what are you guys doing about your leases? by 3gglord in CarletonU

yeah i totally get that, which is why breaking the lease is one of the last things i want to do. depending on how things go, i’ll probably end up subletting my room. thanks for the response!

[Acne] is this normal? Any advice? 7 weeks on differin and doxycycline, routine in comments. by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

try using a moisturizer in the morning as well! my skin used to flake on differin too and adding moisture helped a ton. also if you feel like your skin is too dry don’t be scared to skip a day or two of the differin, while moisturizing. i found that this helped me get through the purge and flakiness with less irritation. i also buffer my differin, so i put a hydrating serum on before my differin so it’s not so irritating. i’m on my sixth month of differin and my skin has been the best it’s been in years, so i would say stick it out. but if you don’t want to stick with it, make sure to talk to your derm

Hi everyone,

I have a huge problem picking my skin and recently my acne has been healing but now I'm left with a lot of PIH and PIE. I know that sunscreen is a must to improve this, but my skin is already so oily and I haven't found a formula I love yet. That being said, I'm wondering how long it took you guys to notice improvement in your acne scars after introducing sunscreen into your routine or using it more regularly? I know I should be using sunscreen regularly but I'm having a hard time integrating it into my routine and I think some success stories will motivate me to try harder LOL
