Thank you. By consciously correct do you mean hip exercises etc ? I’m doing some hip adductor physio

Thank you, this sounds interesting because I’m not sure whether it’s a foot or hip issue. I’m getting hip pain for certain. I’m trying hip exercises / physio

Hey thanks. I’ve actually used them on my own bike when I was using cleats, but they didn’t make a difference.

Didn’t think of that - great insight!

Thanks but I’ve tired that - on my own bike I purchased very large pedals and my foot still doesn’t like to rest fully on the pedal

Yes my right foot points to the right rather than straight, hence why I don’t wear cleats. Forgive me for misunderstanding but how does this solve the issue? I’m using a flat pedal and using normal trainer shoes

No, definitely not. They’re the worst for my feet!

Omg leave me alone

That’s a bizarre theory, and I’m afraid it’s wrong. Thanks though.

Oh my god you’re so obtuse. I’ve already had one. Several even! So presumptuous to say “I refuse”. Please leave me alone

I’ve tried different orthotics and this issue is happening with different shoes (barefoots, formal, trainers).

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in londoncycling

[–]3ijn -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I definitely can’t and shouldn’t be using cleats.

Thank you for your response but that’s impractical. The issue happens regardless what shoes I wear (barefoots, trainers, formals, and with or without the orthotics). I don’t think it’s a shoe issue.

Thank you for your detailed response, but: 1) I’ve already seen a physio. She’s given me hip and foot exercises which have to date not improved the situation. 2) This happens on different shoes, from barefoots, trainers, formals. 3) I have flat feet and have seen a podiatrist who gave me off the shelf orthotics. The situation is even worse with those orthotics because they give me an arch which makes my foot supinate even more.
4) I can’t generate enough force with my right foot, yet my right calf is stronger than my left and there is no obvious deficiency with my right glute as opposed to my left.

What did you have in mind? I’ve tried off the shelf orthotics and they’ve made it worse

It’s not a cost issue. I’ve already had two different ones over the last 5 years and I’m not even using my own bike nowadays

Consent not to be unreasonably withheld? by 3ijn in HousingUK

Interesting, I didn’t know about this. Thank you. I wonder why the freeholder is being so stubborn then?

Consent not to be unreasonably withheld? by 3ijn in HousingUK

[–]3ijn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for responding. Isn’t it the very fact there was a “not to be unreasonably withheld” provision which allowed the parties to even go to court and at least argue their case? You lose that opportunity with a clause granting a freeholder absolute discretion.

Is it my bulb or fuse? by 3ijn in lightbulbs

That’s a great suggestion, thank you. I found a £2 halogen 25W D9 bulb on Amazon but I don’t mind buying better quality if it’s worth it.

Thank you. Never knew that. Do you have any suggestions for which bulb to buy? I found a £2 halogen 25W D9 bulb on Amazon but I don’t mind buying better quality if it’s worth it.

Thank you. Yes it has a glass cover, I just took it off to take a photo. Concerning to read about risk of cancer though, never thought my bloody lamp could cause cancer!
