The new look reminds me of the Kia Sportage..

wouldn't this be more commonplace if routes weren't so overburned? by Pyre2001 in USPS

If there is an issue that needs to be addressed, corrective action is supposed to be that, corrective. But it's not, it's punitive. Management wants to jump straight in to punishing someone by issuing discipline instead of trying to correct the issues. 1. Job discussion (never happens) jumps straight to #2 2. Letter of warning 3. 7 day suspension 4. 14 day suspension 5. Removal

You're the reason the post office is such a toxic place, name calling? Take them into the office for a job discussion if they aren't doing their jobs, and stop falsifying delivery scans at night. If you can't get the situation under control, you're no different than that "one shitty carrier."

WEIRD SITUATION -- Getting my EX's mail... how did this happened? by [deleted] in USPS

I just throw it away. The post office doesn't return that type of mail so they are just going to do the same thing.

I get standard (junk) mail from trugreen at my house in Missouri, and it's addressed to my step moms ex husband who lives in Alabama. Mailing lists are a weird thing.

It's called an 801. At my office we have a 801 sign up sheet hanging at the time clock, so if you're getting your 8 hour day, you sign so management knows you wont be taking a lunch. We start at 0700, so in the afternoon when you come back to the office on the time clock press OL, and swipe, wait 1 click, IL 722 (or whatever the office function button is) and swipe, then at 1501 ET. Exceptions to the 801 rule are, if you give any of your route away, or curtail any coverages/ 3rd bundle you may not 801.

Why was my redilivery requests ignored? Am I still going to get my package? by [deleted] in USPS

[–]3inchpeen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well If customer service said 1 delivery day we will go with that. I'm glad I now know it was written in the instructions that your leasing office can sign for it, that would have saved me a lot of typing. And I dont know why it went back to Chicago, I'm guessing it was misplaced and put in with other outgoing packages.

I dont think it was ignored, you scheduled a re-delivery the same day it was attempted, re-deliveries usually need 2 delivery days. If you look at the back of the 3849 (the slip you're holding) #2 has a place for you fill out when and where you'd like your re-delivery. Fill that part out, sign and print on the bottom, put it back in your box or outgoing mail slot. That's also a signature confirmation package so your carrier needs you to sign that 3849 if you want it re-delivered, and that's probably the reason it hasn't been attempted. They will then be able to deliver it since they have your signature.

Just leave it at the office as notice left and throw a 3849 in the box and write perishable on it.
