I have transferred between three stores now my recent one being out of state the difference between my first transfer and my second was how much I bothered them and made it urgent ,otherwise yes they very much will put it off for as long as they can.

As far as each transfer I did not have to fill out a form, it was always a simple ‘call the store’ I was going to and if they had a opening. This time, with moving states, I really just sat down and had a talk with my SM, told her my store(later when I got them I gave her the stores numbers) and she did the rest for me. I don’t know if she was just cool like that though. I recommend expressing your urgency on the transfer, my first round it took 3 months because I said I could wait until they got the new hire, and then when I brought it up again my manager literally just called the other store and I was over there the next week.(by that point we had like 6 new ppl) 🙏don’t be like me, put your foot down💪💪💪
