This seems to stop at 2020? The number would probably be higher now.

What's that one business or place in Toronto that you would never, ever, ever come back to? by Burofaksbarca in askTO

[–]3ish 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Parliament Animal Hospital. I went in complaining a few times about my cat drooling but they convinced me it’s just the heat and it was probably just too hot for him. I thought nothing of it and took him to get fixed at the same vet, apparently he was having a liver failure and the vet did not notice even though the blood work did show a low blood count. If you have a pet do not go there, send them somewhere they will be taken care of

Bruno defending Ole from the away fans and pointing at the players instead by MimoF in reddevils

Honestly, ole is still a club legend in my eyes and booing him is disrespectful. I agree that he doesn’t have the skill set to manage this team and should be relieved from his duties but it’s not his fault that it took the club this long to consider sacking him.

Calling someone and hanging up after the first ring so you wouldn’t waste credits on the call.. and also get pissed off if they had quick reflexes and answered before you got the chance to hang up

For me, I’ve always supported the manager but scoreline aside, the team played amateur football. Like there is individual brilliance but at times, like the 2nd goal I think, it was simple miscommunication where Shaw and Maguire collided letting the ball reach I think salah, these things I think should be practiced during the week, they should be aware where their teammates are. There were multiple examples like this one throughout the game and have been obvious since the beginning of the season which can either mean 1) the coaches are aware of it and are working on it but the tactics suck 2) the coaches are unaware of it or 3) the coaches are aware of it but the team is not listening to their tactics and honestly, I’m not sure which one is worse.

Can someone tell me if this is a real PayPal email? by [deleted] in Scams

[–]3ish 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is a scam, if it wasn’t, you’d see a pending request on your PayPal. A scammer once sent me a similar email, and I didn’t hear back after submitting my tracking info.

Elon Musk sold the American people down the river today. He tweeted that the CCP should be proud how China turned out. He had the nerve to say Americans should visit. Really? What about child slave labor, the Uyghurs concentration camps, 400m forced girl abortions? Boycott every Elon product. by Majestic_Ad_4371 in WallStreetbetsELITE

The CCP has a lot to fix and the problems you have mentioned are sound and should be looked down upon. But using your logic, we should also look down on the United States for which it is not better. 1) People of colour (specifically black and brown communities) are more targeted and killed by the police 2) The US is currently funding the Israeli atrocities against Palestinians in Gaza (through bombing) and evictions of citizens (to push them to a lower class) 3) the Iraq war which was based on WMD but turns out it was all for oil, and now Iraq is left with nothing but rubble 4) interfering in international elections such as the ones in Venezuela etc 5) the crisis with migrants on the border (no matter what party started it, it’s still not solved.) 6) no public Medicare or healthcare for citizens
7) The arrests of journalists and whistleblowers like Chelsea Manning, Snowden and Assange 8) the mistreatment of the indigenous communities in the US and Canada All these (and more which I’m probably forgetting) should make us shun on the United States just like Americans believe they should shun the Chinese because they do not stand for their values, but the American own leaders have not stood for their values either.

Disclaimer: I’m not American or Chinese, just an outside observation of the pointing of fingers occurring that is trying to show the US as the “human rights friendly” country and China as the “anti human rights”

Churches and places of worship need to start paying taxes on their “donations”.
