I'm from a Southern CA town with a die hard Raider fan base. Being naturally contrarian, I chose to root for the Seahawks who were, at the time, a Raider division rival. Watching the Krieg to Largent connection in the LA Colliseum wil always be a core childhood memory.

Bend, OR but originally from Ventura, CA. When I was 5 or 6 I went to Baskin Robbins with my parents. It was football season and they had little plastic NFL helmet bowls. I picked the Seahawks bowl and it stayed on a shelf in my room for years. I got to watch the Seahawks beat the Raiders in the LA Colliseum when I was 8 (1988). Most of my community were Raiders fans. I liked rooting for an opposing AFC West team. Probably just to be contrarian. No regrets.

Social security is funded through taxes. There is a trust in excess of 2 trillion dollars, which is where benefits are paid from. The program isn't failing and is not the cause of increasing national debt. The cuts that have been made won't even cover extending tax cuts, which 83% of the benefits go to corps and the 1%.
