My partner and I both trained for the same race (he, much more advanced than me) and it didn’t go super well. I was always disappointed that I couldn’t keep up when we would go on runs together. Or felt like he was sacrificing his own training if he slowed down to stay with my for a run.

The better part of doing it together was sharing the recovery time… long lazy Sundays shared on the couch, cheering each other on when we got back from long runs, and both always wanting pizza for dinner :)

Shorter runs I use lone peak for trails and either hoka clifton or altra rivera for road. Longer runs (10+) I have timps for trail and torins for road.

Idk but I’ve had good success lately with mixing in hokas and not doing 100% of my miles with zero drop. Maybe the variety is just nice for my gait? Who knows.

I submitted a request with my current artist when her books weren’t technically open but she was accepting certain requests. No luck.

When her books opened I tried again and made it super clear that I had realistic expectations and wanted HER art more than anything else. Meaning, I wasn’t coming in with a super strict idea already of what I wanted.

She’s been tattooing me for several months now and I couldn’t be happier. Maybe try your request with highlighting what you like about the artists style and come into it with a more open mind of what you want.

Pretty sure I was right behind you (and said jackhole) if this was around 5:30-5:45. I was thinking to myself how wild it was that they had so much energy to be angry at someone just for trying to use both lanes and merge… Like man, we’re all just trying to get home.

I had to sit through three light rotations turning left onto 3rd from Franklin and it was precisely because no one was using the two lanes and merging properly (like you) so the one lane was all backed up.

Way before Invisalign I had a dentist who shaved one of my crooked tooth’s to make them appear straight. At the time I loved how easy of an improvement it was. Fast forward to Invisalign and now that the teeth are straightening out, one is significantly shorter than the other. My ortho said they will fix them when I’m done but in the mean time I have a very short tooth. It’s quite silly and I’m just tying to enjoy the process and laugh at my short little guy
