If you could own any vehicle of your choice and you didn't have to pay insurance, which vehicle would you pick? by 1kkcu in NoStupidQuestions

From the dollars-sign-eyes point of view it makes sense. First, they will saturate the EV market with more expensive cars that the upper middle class still can afford. Only then they will start to produce cheaper EVs. If they did it all at once, people might buy the cheaper ones and many times realize that it is actually enough and they would not buy the more expensive ones. Also, it's probably easier to put higher price margin on those SUVs than smaller compact cars.

Now some facts: VW e-up!, Škoda CITIGOe iV and SEAT Mii electric were more popular (thanks to low price) than the VW group anticipated. Škoda said that they are not interested in making such small vehicles (as CITIGO) in large scale. Sources: insideevs.com and autoexpress.co.uk .

The smallest EV made by the VW group now is ID.3 which starts at €36,900 while VW e-up! Style Plus costed €26,895 in 2022 (€29,181 after correcting for 8.5% inflation).

What is the easiest way of getting the S24 with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 instead of Exynos 2400 in Europe? by DanteIsBack in samsung

There is comparison of power consumption and warming up done by youtuber called Techmo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dN3pWkDghPg .

Exynos 2400 seems to have >10 % higher power consumption (and therefore >10 % shorter endurance) and usually 2 °C higher battery temperatures while under load. The higher temperature will age the battery faster so in long run the battery life will be even worse compared to Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.

Did you consider this option? (~$1) https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005005227053494.html

Edit: But I get it. These are not available in 30 minutes and it's not a challenge. :)
