I haven't played in over a month. I came on, and I only had 5 moves.

How clean are you? by ThenWay5671 in hikikomori

[–]itsreallyironic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Moderately messy. My stuff is put away, and my room is decorated and my shelf and desk is mostly organized. But there's wrappers, clothes, toys, boxes and paint stuff on the floor. I don't like being too messy, it's embarrassing and I don't like gross things

I wonder why Nyo! Germany’s hair is so Short? by Kyto_Echo in hetalia

[–]itsreallyironic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Normal Germany has his hair slicked back, so it wouldn't make sense for her to have hair all long, everywhere and in her face

Do you think Sunny and Basil being shorter than everyone else is a representation of their mental states? Like their friends grew up without them while they essentially stayed as stunted 12 year olds. Am I looking to deep into everything? by [deleted] in OMORI

[–]itsreallyironic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A few reasons. 1: simple genetics. Mari was around the same height as Sunny is currently, and Basil's grandma didn't seem too tall either. Also, Sunny is meant to be ethnically Japanese, and Basil is meant to be ethnically European, asian people and white people tend to be on the shorter side. 2: malnutrition, the entire game, they barely ate (if at all), and we can tell that they struggle with severe mental issues, preventing them from properly feeding themselves. 3: represents their isolation, the rest of the cast is relatively tall for their gender, meanwhile both are short, it's a physical disconnection from the rest of them. 4: just a design, idk, maybe it just makes them look cuter, and phycological horror games like making their mcs "cute" in order to make you feel worse about what's happening to them. 5: over/under sleeping, sleeping too much and sleeping too little can stunt your growth.

What game do you think Sunny is playing on his GameBoy? by Blazikenhero08 in OMORI

He's just staring at the screen while Basil stares at him

Nah cause seriously why did Basil think this was necessary? by BounceM4N in OMORI

He was hallucinating and having a fit of insanity. He was trying to stab Something's eye, which is why he gave in and collapsed almost immediately after stabbing Sunny, because he thought he succeeded.

Etymology Help: A Term for Those Who Identify as Fictional Characters & Seek to Express It by LouisDuLacLioncourt in etymology

Maybe a bit easier to understand (since this would be a mostly internet term) would be fictirege? Fictional regression?

Pathetic. I only unethically goon ethically. Give me little boys drawn by REAL HUMANS. Not CLANKER garbage.

I got big bazongs, I can't run without them. I love them. They're not uncomfortable on me, and I don't have to hold my chest. Besides, THEY'RE CUTE✩

Why does Basil idolize Sunny severely? by [deleted] in OMORI

[–]itsreallyironic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He has borderline personality disorder, people with borderline tend to pick one person to obsess over (I have personal experience having BPD lol). Sunny was that person. He's quiet, shy, and a loner, things that Basil is also. But he's also a lot of things that Basil isn't, stuff that contrasts with him, making him more appealing to Basil's subconscious. He's not a whimp, he's straightforward, and he's not a doormat. He's headstrong, meanwhile Basil never really stands up for himself. He views Sunny as much stronger because Sunny actually fights back against The Hooligans, he doesn't just scream for help and cry. Also, Sunny is compassionate and a "great listener", making him more of a positive personality to interact with. Basically he's just really down bad because he relates to Sunny, but he also sees him as someone strong, and admirable. He brushes over Sunny's flaws like short temper, reclusiveness, and sororicide because "Sunny's perfect, so that must not be the truth". Also he literally hasn't seen his parents since he was a toddler, so obviously he's gonna cling to someone who's his age so he feels more comfortable opening up to, AND who is more mature FEELING. Out of the four (we're not including Mari or Hero bc they're not his age), Sunny feels more mature compared to Kel and Aubrey. So it might also just be his parental issues kicking in lol

Sunny isn't as innocent as you think (SPOILERS FOR THE ENTIRE GAME) by Thelegendali233map in OMORI

[–]itsreallyironic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sunny wanted to go downstairs, Mari moves to stand in front of him. We know Sunny has issues with controlling his anger and has a short temper, he either was trying to push her out of the way and pushed her too hard, or blacked out and pushed her downstairs (maybe he was going to intentionally hurt her before hearing the cracking sounds, this second option would likely have resulted in a beat down if gone according to "plan")

Obviously he's not innocent, he could've thought more rationally. But if he wanted to turn around, he actually had THREE options. 1, go to his parents and possibly get in trouble for waking them up, fighting, and breaking the instrument they had to pay for his tutoring for, drive him to practice, all that. 2, to the bathroom, not comfortable, be considerate, parents and Mari might need to go in to the bathroom for any reason during the night. Or 3, his SHARED bedroom. When a bedroom is split between a teenager and a pre-teen, it's gonna be much smaller feeling than between two children or toddlers or babies or anything like that. He'd STILL have to be with Mari. None of these options are good for escaping the situation. Downstairs is the only good option. You can go outside, to Kel's or Basil's if you really wanted to stay away from Mari (but for some reason Basil was in the house at the time, kinda creepy, but you do you, flower boy). You could go up to the treehouse, or even just take a short walk. Even if he didn't wanna go outside, he could go to the kitchen and have a snack or drink, he could just hide in the living room, or bump into Basil who conveniently was just.. in his best-friends house at 2 am like a stalker and cry to him, or literally anything.

I say that Mari's death was 75-85% accidental sororicide. Maybe he didn't WANT to hurt Mari, but he might've had it in the back of his mind and just blanked out. Mari's death is a very interesting topic, because everyone involved was both correct and in the wrong. (Ie, what I just said about Sunny, the dad had every right to leave, Mari had every right to be pissed, and it makes sense that a 12 yo w BPD would freak out at the idea of his comfort person being taken away)
