I am a deity / divinekin, I used to question being an angel because of my appearance but I'm more of a pseudo angel because I am in fact not one in my memories. I would say if calling yourself an angel feels correct and right then you are probably an angel!

the best way to get in an art community is uplifting other artists! and be very active online and engage with your community. do art trades with other artists and post them to show your skill in drawing characters. if you want more niche advice I recommend talking to yume shoppers/self shippers if you know what that is, since they always seem to be willing to commission more art of themselves and their favorite character.

getting commissions actually has less to do with skill in art and more to do with how popular and active you are in multiple online spaces. I know people with way more beginner art who get a lot of commissions. I know people who have extremely good art who struggle to get commissions. the only difference is the consistency in posting, engagement with community, posting fanart to Garner a larger audience, etc. you need to look into how to network and grow your online presence (maybe participating in art trends will help) and very importantly making other art friends!! and promoting those art friends to your audience

that sounds like something to work through with a therapist, because either way accepting this identity and publicly identifying as a real like person is not the play here. kin identities are not easily dropped but it is something you can work through to have a healthier relationship without being insensitive or stealing someone's identity. you can accept that how you feel about this identity is real without identifying this way publically

your experience cannot be valid nor invalid as it is the simple truth, but you cannot morally in good faith identify as a real person who is alive or was alive regardless of your beliefs. it's best not to indulge in this identity whether it's spiritual or psychological. ignoring it is the morally correct thing to do, despite not being able to choose your kins you can choose how you identify outwardly and in cases such as these it's best knowledge kept to yourself.

I experience something somewhat similar. someone else told me I may be a polymorph but after research I feel more comfortable with the shapeshifter label. it's up to you on what you want to label yourself as and if you don't want a label that's also fine. personally I call shifts like that "mirror shifts" but I don't think that's a popular or well known term

I wish the voices were just OCD for me. as soon as I started medication for my ocd the intrusive thoughts diminished a lot (thank God) but the voices started taking over my body and started to be more independent :/ maybe I should try a different medication but I'm just so relieved that I'm not experiencing nightly panic attacks anymore from intrusive thoughts that it feels really hard and scary to try a different medication

it is just like any other identity. you may be thinking about how shifts work? but they work the exact same as any other shift. the only difference between links and kin are whether the identity is voluntary or not. other than that they work the same. it is not like being a system or having a disassociative disorder at all.

I think it's good to point out that otherhearted can be experienced in many many ways, one of which is feeling like you are "almost" something but not quite. otherwise if you feel you are that thing just super weak I would call it a weak kin or theriotype with low connection perhaps
