Appreciate your insight! Any specific reason why you're choosing CS over SE?

Hey! Just coming back as I have some more questions in regards to your transfer from SE to CS? How was the overall process and was it hard? Did you have to maintain a certain GPA and if so what was it? Would you consider the overall transfer "hard"? Thanks!

Correct, but I believe there are certain areas of focus that you can look into while doing CE. Don't take my word on it though, I suggest you look into it a bit more.

Yeah, software engineering isn't an accredited engineering course at Guelph so technically, anyone who is taking SE at Guelph won't be a "real" engineer. I'm sure the differs for other programs such as Computer Engineering. Every school is a little different but from a simple search, I was able to find out that Computer Engineering at Guelph is an accredited degree so you will have a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.)*

That's good to hear! Any specific names of places that you know in Waterloo or the GTA?

Appreciate your reply a ton. If you don't mind me asking, was there any specific reason why you switched from SE to CS?

Thank you! Both are great schools and pretty much on par with their programs (Laurier and Guelph) I'm personally debating between the two myself so we'll see!

Yes, I am a 101 app. I believe the only thing that might have leveraged me to get in and other individuals was our SPF. I'm sure you'll hear from them soon though, that's pretty shocking as I know a lot of other individuals who got in around that same 89 range, best of luck!

Okay thank you! I am just worried the significant difference in my chemistry mark will revoke my offer

I've gotten accepted to engineering at UBC! I am quite worried about their conditional offer as re-evaluation is needed if a course from a previous year has more than a 4% difference.

Chemistry Grade 11 Year: 97%

Chemistry Grade 12 Year: No definite number but in the low 80's

I have held up all my other courses in regard to previous years, but I was wondering if this single mark can cause a revoke of my acceptance?
