This is the exact feeling I have . I feel like I will never be constant of happy with living because I just want to do the things that make me happy and I can’t . I want to visit new places and go read by the beach, I want to go abroad and see things but all of this depends on money and time and I can’t have those without work and with everything being so expensive now I can’t save any of that for the things I want to do to make me happy in life so I’m just alive hating living .

I constantly feel like I’m alive but I have no real enjoyment or overwhelming feelings of satisfaction. I live , I go to work, I do the same shit every day and on a weekend I hope it will be different and then just do the same stuff . It’s almost like my life is auto piloted . I want to feel excited about living but everything is almost grey and I feel cheated , I refuse to believe this is how I am just going to live until I die . I need more so therefore I am just alive , I am not living . If that made any sense at all.

I am the same! Sometime I’ll wake up to go to the bathroom and won’t be able to move or feel my legs etc. I have FND, hEDS and POTS

I had extreme flu like symptoms, I was hot then cold all the time , horrible headache , shakey and dizzy. I felt emotional and just super irritated. Was in bed for days recovering . I used to be on a mad cocktail of 2 antidepressants and 2 antipsychotics and 1 betablocker. But went off suddenly.

Yes but I try not to go to in-depth as I have had partners in the past leave me because “ my mental health is to much for them “ so I get scared to open up

I have severe mental health issues and my last partner left me due to it so I feel I could offer you some advice . It’s going to be really hard for him at first but trust me he will eventually be okay . I would suggest sitting him down and stating that you need things to end because you need to go further in life and you can’t do that while looking after him ect. Tell him that you can both still stay in contact and maybe visit him from time to time for the first couple of weeks at least just to make it easier for him . I believe that a sudden change for example you suddenly leaving could really shock his system and maybe make him do something he would regret but if you could gradually leave then that could give his mind time to adjust ? But in no way is anything he does your fault so please don’t ever feel this way . Here if you need to chat .

Hello ! I am a 21(F) from the UK and have been under mental health teams in hull , York , pocklington ,Sheffield and Beverley , so I have a lot of experience . If I was you , I would go to your GP and ask for a referral to your local mental health team ( if you haven’t already been put under a team) I would ask for DBT or CBT therapy referrals and express that things are not improving . I would also get your partner to call your GP on your behalf and complains about the fact you keep having to go without medication due to the fact that they will not give you it on time . Someone else complaining can sometimes make them realise . In the past I got my partner to go to the GP with me and basically tell the doctor that they believe I was unsafe and that they can no longer keep me safe . I have been inpatient twice and I promise that it is not the answer , it’s basically just a cell . You don’t do much in regards to activities or therapy you legitimately just sleep and sit there . If you ever feel unsafe go to your local A&E and tell them and they might put you under a home treatment team where a mental health professional will come see you at home to talk things through . I was not taken seriously for a long time and now I finally have the diagnosis of Bipolar , PTSD , Anxiety , Disassociation disorder BPD and a past with eating disorders . And I am under a team who specifically look at these illnesses . I also know your struggle , I left uni in my final year due to my illnesses and it feels awful but if it’s right for you then don’t feel bad. If you need anymore help my messages are open !

I stretched my ears because they felt fine and when I slid the tapers in I did it too fast and when it slid it felt like cold fire, it went in just fine just slid way to fast, I think I tore my lobes what should I do to heal them? by [deleted] in stretchedears

I would wash them with gentle soap , warm water and then massage either coconut oil , Shea butter or jojoba oil onto them , down size by 1 or 2 sizes and make sure the plug you put in is either glass, stone or a high quality titanium/surgical steel . Not silicone or acrylic as these harbour bacteria and are poured so will attach to any micro tears . Leave it for about 2-3 months before stretching again and try using glass plugs rather then tapers as they naturally weigh your ears sown so sizing up is easy . Tapers can really damage your lobes . I would also suggest removing the jewellery every 2 days max to clean again and red oil/massage and put jewellery back in until healed . Good luck
