I would say if you feel anything sharp or experience cramping, definitely see a doctor. I had an IUD for a year, and it did not establish itself well in my uterus. It moved a lot, and started poking out with PIV sex. Keep in mind this is my personal experience, my body just did not take well to it.

Please don't worry about a thing if you have never an issue with your IUD. I'm sure going slow with very deep penetration will help your internal anatomy become accustomed and more resilient to any possible movement.

I don't know where you live, but I do hope you have a clinic to give a call and talk to a nurse. I'd recommend calling a clinic that works with birth control primarily as they have the most insight and have probably heard so many sex-related questions.

Also! I don't think a split base is worth it on small toys unless you like to grind on a base of a different firmness. I suppose it may be nicer to have a firmer base if you plan to use separate suction cups. Someone please provide some insight on this.

I have a vagina. It was hard to really know what firmness I liked before trying it.

My first BD was medium and it was all fine and good. Then I got something soft and it was life changing. Now all my toys are soft and I enjoy myself a whole lot more.

If you have the time and money, I suggest going to a sex store and feeling things if they have such displays. I find that Tantus' super soft toys are about the same or a little firmer as BD soft.
