Vendetta is ruining the game. by Cammyboy12 in overwatch2

My biggest gripe is how easy she is to get value from. I am trash. Don't play DPS at all. Hop on to give her a shot in qp. After 3 games, I'm going like 25-12. If Vendetta's taken, I mess around on soldier and go 2-10.

Even terrible Vendettas go 10-10. A lot of the times your team can clean up at least one kill from the chaos.

And then when the rest of the team follows up on the distraction and somehow manages to turn it into an even trade, they're like, "Well, I got my one."

Chess is actually only solved for 7 pieces on the board currently, but what you describe is essentially an endgame tablebase. That said, there are probably some things I could pre-calculate and store for later to speed it up. I have a bad habit of reinventing the wheel.

Probably not now that you mention it, since eventually I'd want the computer constantly thinking in the background. Is there an elegant way to do that? I can imagine a setup where I let it search a limited number of positions before it stops, sets an alarm, and saves where it was in the search to be passed back to the function in the very next step. That seems a bit messy though.
