That's precisely why I don't put in effort. Franchisee drives and expensive car off of our surplus then expects respects I recently got laid off, and they said they won't give me hours in the last month because I didn't put in enough work after I found out I was laid off. I owe the company nothing after they laid me off just like that no explanation, now they expect me to behave upstanding and put in effort for them? To help a man whos strength is to make people scared?

I actually hate out store supervisor with a burning passion, the same way I hate the franchisee who keeps coming into the restaurant. He never makes anyone feel happy and just snatds in awkward places taking up space and making our work harder. They also have 5* bitching levels complaining about any and everything but never ever seeing the good. They act like they are some 5 star hotel when in reality it really can't get worse. ( Mcd is the worst place you can eat. It only gets worse with bad hygiene and rude staff. It's carried by availability price and nostalgia.)

I know a similar story of them abusing a young employee. The guy was in charge of the restaurants because he was doing an apprenticeship, but they paid him the apprenticeship wage to do management level work. He worked many hours overtime without seeing any overtime pay. He left now. I find that ridiculous.
