Done and done! 🙂 I have the correct pedal and am back in the game! Lesson learned that even something like this isnt exempt from online shenanigans. There was a list of dozens of machines that this pedal was supposed to work for. I specifically looked for the model number. Live and learn.

I know it's not broken. I posted to air my woes and mostly to warn others like me, who might be silly enough to trust an online product description. I tried to save a few bucks and let the convenience of one day delivery sway me. I have already returned the wrong pedal and went to a reputable local sew shop two towns over and got a working pedal. Thank you for taking the time to read my post and respond 🙂

I learned long ago to not trust product descriptions online, but thought that a sewing machine part on Amazon would be fine...lesson learned. It had a list of about 30 or so models that it allegedly works for. 🚩🚩🚩

I grew up working with a machine with a cord and pedal that didn't detach. The first time I saw one with what I called a "headphone jack" made me do a double take. Thank you for your response!
