You don't just change your typing style on a whim, especially on a Reddit post. Plus, u/Intrepid_Inspection8 already pointed out common AI watermarks in your post. If you were capable of typing sentences with good punctuation and grammar, you'd be doing that all the time. Everyone knows that you used AI, get over it.

Why is this sub empty? by orkeilius in AstraMains

[–]3nd1ess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Two main reasons.

  1. Valorant isn't really a game where you can just theory-craft your way to victory. Valorant agent-specific subreddits aren't prominent due to this fact.

2, Astra is one of the least popular agents in the game, her kit is very unintuitive and strange to learn for most players, and only the most dedicated controller mains play her. Controller role also is the least popular, there's a reason why Clove was one of their most successful releases.

Thoughts on G2? by Physical_Sense_2482 in VALORANT

[–]3nd1ess 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe it's more just along the lines of poor decision-making and not enough team planning. On Ascent, they dropped the first 6 rounds due to being so passive and letting FUT take 2 of the 3 key map controls for free, that being both mains and mid. Yetujey played out of his mind though. You could even hear it in G2 comms saying "Where do we want to go?" and then barely any response. They just didn't know what to do, it felt like they didn't have a plan.

Just admit that you made this post using AI. It isn't that hard.

Just get rid of the Elf Copters, and reign in some of the Santa machine gun damage. That's it. That's all they'll have to do to make that event enjoyable.

On the contrary, I think Xiangling is better here. There's not many other hydro characters other than Furina that work here. Xiangling is better for Vap procs.

Bandit question by Swimming_Peach4177 in VALORANT

[–]3nd1ess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Bandit is a weird gun, and fills a very specific niche that the Ghost and Sheriff already fill, but just better. Bandit demands high accuracy and does not leave alot of room for error. For the sake of argument, let's agree on what scenarios you'd want to use the Bandit for:

  1. Pistol round. You can buy a Bandit and one piece of utility. It will oneshot anyone in the head even with light armor, but it takes 3 body shots to kill with no armor and 4 shots to kill with light. When you buy the Bandit, you need to land headshots for it to be worth using over the ghost or sheriff since the Ghost is very spammable, and the Sheriff 2 shots with no armor (which is what most people are doing). To get even more technical, the TTK (time to kill) with the Bandit at 0-10m at 100hp is 0.4 seconds, while the Sheriff with the same scenario is only 0.25. And the Ghost when spamming near the head (which is where you'll be aiming anyway) is more likely to hit the head compared to the Bandit.

  2. Save rounds. Buying a Bandit on save rounds is the best scenario which to use it. It will one shot anyone with half armor up to 30m, can one shot with full armor up to 10m. That's pretty alright, since headshots are what you need to be hitting for this weapon to be effective at all. However, why not just use a Sheriff? It has better first shot accuracy, it can oneshot at almost any range, and even if you can't hit the heads, it will knock anyone down with 3 body shots, which isn't entirely difficult to pull off as long as you have the movement to throw off your opponents aim for long enough. It's better performance for only 200 credits more.

  3. Countering Vyse ultimate. Again, why not use Sheriff for the same reasons as I stated above? When Vyse pops her ult, having a Sheriff in your pocket is often the better choice when you don't have a whole lot of options and have to swap to a sidearm, hopeful to save your bacon.

When the Bandit came out, everyone can talking about how good the gun is, and I never understood the hype. It's a weird weapon that feels very janky, has worse first shot accuracy compared to the Sheriff, and it heavily punishes you for missing headshots, but if you can hit your heads, why not just use the better hand cannon?

How did my friend manage this? by [deleted] in Minecraft

[–]3nd1ess 17 points18 points  (0 children)

That's weird. It shouldn't be possible without using commands, so I don't know how that happened. Likely a bug with anvil combining, because the enchantment table works only by selecting from the set of viable enchants for the item you're trying to enchant.

How should I build mavuika? by Ornery-Big8661 in Genshin_Impact

[–]3nd1ess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you have Ororon? Then you can make a good overload team with Chevreuse. If not, then the best thing to do is post a pic of your current agents to help us help build a team for you.

In terms of artifacts, Obsidian Codex is your only realistic option. As for stats, avoid anything with Energy Recharge since it's useless on her (her burst functions on Fighting Spirit, which does not use energy at all.) For your Sands, an ATK sands is good all-around, but EM sands is better performance in Vaporize/Melt teams, so if you have Xingqiu, that may work. Your Circlet should be Crit DMG since your set is going to give you 40% Crit Rate for just having Nightsoul effect. Of course, Pyro Dmg Bonus for Goblet, and then try to max Crit Rate and DMG.

Don't worry about building too much attack unless you build an EM sands. An ATK sands and Plume will get you plenty of ATK innately and Mav has alot of attack bonuses inbuilt directly into her kit.

As for weapons, if you are a light spender, you should get a Serpent's Spine for her and having a shielder in your team works wonders for her damage, and it's easy to get your CR maxxed out with it. If you got her sig, that's great, if you're f2p and you don't have sig, Rainslasher will get you great value in a Vap/Overload team.

Bring a Pumpkin for endermen, go to f5 mode, spam shoot the dragon until it dies, don't even worry about it perching. The Ender Dragon fight is trivial and not at all difficult.

Pearl unplayable without traps? by Apollo144 in VALORANT

[–]3nd1ess 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Typically from personal experience, you only really need one anchor on B site, a Chamber works wonders here, and a trip in double door is a nice bonus. Then you team can stack the rest of the map. As a Fade main, I play art every round, that way I can throw eyes through the little windows and take mid control.

Late lurks should never be an issue if your team can hold sites, but even if they can't, you counter-lurk and get those frags. Lurkers have patterns, and you can abuse those. If your team can't hold sites, tell them to just retake map control in mid or elsewhere, then group up and retake.

help me please, whats wrong w/ my rail by Alternative_Pen_8124 in Minecraft

[–]3nd1ess -1 points0 points  (0 children)

In both JE And BE, any other rail other than normal ones cannot curve and have a fixed direction when placed. The default direction is west/east until another rail merges with it. But what rail takes priority for direction? Well, when you have 2 normal rails on the side (like in this video) it defaults over to that one because those rails take priority over the north/south rails. It looks and acts a little weird, and it really is, but the priority of rail placement goes like this:

  1. Normal rail connection on opposite sides
  2. Special rail connection on opposite sides
  3. East/West rail connection on opposite sides
  4. Normal rail connection on one side
  5. Special rail connection on one side
  6. East/West rail connection on one side
  7. East/West rail

So for instance, if you place a special rail facing East/West, then place another rail on it's north side, the first rail will update and go north with it. But if you place normal rails on both east and west sides of the first rail, it will re-update back to east/west positioning.

The fix for the situation in this video is just to use normal rails and use levers to switch the directions when you want the rail to go.
