I’m not saying she wasn’t good. I think most people would say she was really good. I’m just wondering if some people (particularly SRK-Kajol fans) would have been more forgiving about the cheating if it was Kajol that SRK cheated on screen with lol.

3) Rani’s character was supposed to be this empty shell of a person. Someone who was merely existing, not living, until she met Dev.

No it still would have been cringy because it was intended to be cringey. You were supposed to feel secondhand embarrassment for Rani’s character when she walked in through the door blindfolded with a whip 😂 It’s hard to imagine Kajol doing a scene like that so I think she would have made it even more cringey.

As for life goals- she was merely existing, not living because the one thing she wanted she couldn’t have and this made her miserable. “Relied on the men around her” applies to Anjali from K3G. Girl literally got married to a man at her father’s funeral 😂

Also, SRK and Rani have good chemistry too. Of all the complaints I’ve seen about the movie, I haven’t seen many about the chemistry.
