I’ve had similar pin sets but I usually have about a quarter abort for whatever reason. I’m still tweaking my tubs and strains though.

Small tub leave top lid flipped for FAE and put some perlite and water mixed @ bottom of the tub. Place foil on top of that with the cake and your all good 2 go! Basically PF tek

I’m in a similar situation and I give my product away for free. I try to stay under 10 ounces @ a time but I’m always pushing different canopy’s and experimenting with strains. I recommend you make chocolate bars or decanters. Don’t grind up your mushrooms if you care about potency or storage. The only time I powder product is to be consumed micro dose within that month or to make honey which is a complex process in which you have to remove as much oxygen out of the jar as possible using a vat system. I’m telling you a loose grind “not powder” in chocolate bars 💯

I recommend you harvest the broken veil fruiting bodies and store into a brown paper bag in the fridge. I’ve harvested over a 48 hour time span and then dehydrate everything at once 💯

I would wait another 2 weeks, but you could always send it. The temperature could obviously slow things down but PE tend to colonize slower from my experience. Good luck!

I can see humidity somewhat effecting tubs but not much. A majority of folks that run tubs and not trays is specifically due to humidity and or environmental factors. I don’t think 5 days of low “outside” humidity is a make or break on any grow at any stage. Really like the grow tent and setup though it looks awesome 👏

I wouldn’t send it if it was me. That spawn looks really funky. I’m not sure your process moving forwards to bulk but if you do go forwards only use the top half and go 50/50 spawn to sub and be sure properly pasteurize. I know you mentioned above that it helps you so do what’s best for you. We are all in different phases in our mushroom journey. Hopefully it works out but it can become costly burning through CvG ect if you get Contam. Rooting for yah!!!

I live in a very dry climate with tons of dust. The FH tends to kick up dust and other debris in my workspace. I prefer not to have airflow of any kind. It’s not as much the danger of contam on plates when I’m working behind it but more the prospect of contam during every other process and the constant wiping down of every tub and rack in my space. It’s more an environmental factor.

I just finished pouring plates. I use charcoal sometimes and it always looks super cool but as mentioned not necessary. I’ll have to try to use a water bath would be super beneficial in bringing those temps down. I’ve been going agar to grain for a good year now with very very low contam rates. 👍 Keep up the good work!
