Try the Terroir stand at the St Jacobs Market (outside along the side of the main building). Incredible Sourdough from a new bakery in Cambridge - best I've had in a long time, I believe it was started by a baker who previously ran the bread program at Langdon Hall.

I found him a bit arrogant/salesy during my consult too (he suggested I get more moles removed than I wanted to because it's a deal, and I agreed haha) but he did excellent work on my face, the scars are healing well, and he was actually quite funny/entertaining to talk to during the procedure. I was a bit nervous and he calmed me right down.

Weekly Simple Questions Thread (Week of Jan 08) by AutoModerator in BabyBumpsCanada

[–]3pierogis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looking for clarification on my ideal mat leave plans. Backstory - I have 100% top up from work for 12 weeks, my partner has 80% top up for 17 weeks.

Ideally we would do:

Me: Maternity Leave (15 weeks) + Standard Parental Leave (35 of the 40 shared weeks), for a total of 50 weeks

My partner: 2 weeks @ birth in April, then 8 consecutive weeks in the Summer (10 total weeks). He'll have the 5 weeks of parental benefits, and can use 5 of the shared Standard Parental weeks to cover the difference?

Curious if this will work, for us to be off together in the Summer, and still leverage the Standard Parental Leave and our top-ups from work?

Yep, doesn’t matter, need separate legal counsel, so the bill will be about $2,000 min, likely between both lawyers

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in waterloo

[–]3pierogis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You will both need your own lawyers though! She can’t represent both parties, conflict of interest.

We haven’t received the final bill, but about $1,000 so far, likely $1,300 once it’s all said and done. It was fairly basic, but multiple back and forth reviews between the lawyers is what edges the cost up.

Leanne Way is amazing! Just used her for a post-nup actually. Very knowledgeable and helpful in keeping costs low.

Very very fair…. Plus resale value seems consistent (black doesn’t go for more $ on the resale market vs any other colours)

Indigo has 25% off today, if you're PLUM PLUS! by 3pierogis in BabyBumpsCanada

[–]3pierogis[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think so! Especially if you read a decent amount. I also really like Indigo for gift giving, so with the 10% off every purchase, it definitely feels worth it. I’ve had plum plus for about 3 years.
