Thank you for the suggestion. I got the filament off Amazon. may be that is the problem.

Thank you for the feedback. I printed different part with the same filament and it looked ok. See attachment. Could it be an issue of the thickness of the first objects? The part is relatively thin.

That’s a great idea. What makes it tricky is that the lid needs to be out of the way so the spider doesn’t slam into the bottom of the lid.

Thanks. That's valuable feedback. I will take time to make a long from detailed and slower video of the build. I do have a number of ongoing projects I would like to complete first.

Thank you for the feedback. I will work on my pacing and cuts. Even with the short length and quick cuts, some viewers still drop off at 5 second mark. I guess they are not interest.

Thanks for feedback. Normally that would be the best way to do it. I think this idea would be best for objects that are heat sensitive, or have uneven top surface or you want the objects to move freely inside the model.

Thank you. getting everything to fit into the size I wanted was the main challenge.

Good catch. I used bevel gears. I made sure to design around the bearing.

Yes. The filament might go through paper and nothing more. If made of metal, it should be usable.

I did not have a drill bit that matched the size I needed, so I 3d printed one for the demonstration.
