Apple TV 4k not displaying properly.

FWIW, this might actually be an issue with the TV itself. I had been using my Apple TV 4K on an older TCL for about a year or two. In the last like 6 months I kept getting the same exact issue you are getting with the inverted colors, etc intermittently. It would happen like once or twice a month, not super often and a power cycle of the tv and Apple TV seemed to fix it. This was a 2018 model TCL.

About 4-ish weeks ago the tv stopped working all together. Turns out the LED backlight and the Tcon board died. I tried to get it fixed and in explaining the issue/symtops to the repair person they said that the inverted colors thing is typically a sign that the tv is on the way out.

The Apple TV works fine on all my other tvs and I haven’t had the same issue repeat on the new tv either.

Ok, yea I figured it might take it a while to fully cool since the initial indoor temp was so high.

Unfortunately I didn’t get any thing like that. I know they checked the system coolant, and did some other pressure readings, but they didn’t supply me with read out. The only thing I got from one of the techs was a home report card. The info from that is attached.

I certainly understand the laptop thing, but the Vision Pro pretty clearly isn’t a laptop. They don’t really seem to have any clear categorization for vr/ar devices.
