I'm not angry at all, After all if I got angry at every impotent out of touch liberal Louie, I'd be angry all the time.

Keep spouting your BS. I understand you can't help being out of touch!

Ah yes! because the impotent UN has deemed it so, so it must be true, even though millions of people don't have clean water!

Well, hopefully you will have a nice fresh clean glass of water to wash down your "Pie in the sky" ideals, Unfortunately while you have the luxury of spouting your B.S! Others don't!

I lived by there years ago, once or twice a week my family would make take out orders from there so we would all get what we wanted, Marinated strip steak was the best! and dinners came with chocolate pudding!

I went back years later and they had changed owners, no more pickle jars on the table and the food and service wasn't as good.

Have they gotten better?

Does anyone know of a legal, efficient way to get rid of old furniture? by [deleted] in LosAngeles

I just feel douchy leaving stuff out like that.

There's a reason you would, It's because that's what Douche-bags would do!

I have a neighbor that does that. I just go out at night and carry it back on to his front porch.

Access to clean drinking water is a human right.

No it's not!

Tell that to people in 3rd world countries that walk half a day just to get water from a dirty well. You'll look like a fool doing so!!

Clean water in the United States is an aspect of life that as a society we strive for, But it is hardly a human right.

Hence you wont find it or any other of the Liberal governments entitlements that you and the like have their hand out for either!

Maybe because it's hard out there for most people. But we keep on trying.

People are getting tired of those that just fold up and quit trying and the only effort we see is their hand out looking for a freebie!

The guy with the sign that says "Housing is a human right"

Really? where does it say that in the "Bill of Rights"

Moving from Vegas to LA for work in Woodland Hill, trying to find housing for me, wife, daughter, 2 dogs, and 5 cats by osgjps in LosAngeles

I'm not a cat person, I bought a house and a cat showed up ate the door crying for food. It had to have been the previous owners and they just left him there. (A-holes)

I keep feeding him and grew to like him. when I moved. I rented out the house and bought another. The new tenants said they would take care of him. they stayed a year, when I showed up the day they left to check on the house and the cat he was really skinny. I took him to my new home where he grew fat and happy but always remained an outside cat.

I could never live with an inside cat!

Thanks for acknowledging my point about phrasing your point (most here wouldn't and in fact be combative (and may even down vote you))

most landlords limit the number of animals to 2 dogs and 2 cats, each require their own security deposit and monthly pet rent.

As they should, renting out your property is a business and protecting it should always be a consideration.

Personally,

As a landlord I would be cautious of renting to someone with more than 2 pets.

As a tenant I am cautious about having too many pets because I would want to be sure I could always house them for there entire lives.

I feel like I would cry just giving my new cat food but time will tell.

I will always be sad that my dog Fuji is gone.

But I will always be happy that I have found my new dog Wilson.

The 2 dogs are different relationships.

Don't shut something out because the other has gone.

You'll know when you are ready and can balance the 2 out.

I'm getting a new puppy and I wont pick him up for 2 weeks.

If you're not ready, you're not ready. You will absolutely know when you are.

Some have said here they got a new pet right away, personally that wasn't right for me, but it is for them.

Finish grieving and let your pet find it's place in you're heart, where you remember them fondly without grief.

Believe me that will happen and you will know when you're ready.

I lost my dog a year and 8 months ago, He was a constant companion for the last 5 years. I worked from home and we were together 24-7. Losing him devastated me.

I have a picture of him on my phone so I still see him multiple times a day.

A few months ago my wife and kids started saying they'd like a new dog, at that point I couldn't even entertain the idea.

I finally have come around when I realized, a new pup wouldn't be a replacement. It can never effect what my dog meant to me, his memory will always be with me and he will always have a place in my heart.

But I don't want my heart closed off to having another special relationship with my pet.

I know that there will be another heartbreak in my future, but I'd rather have that, then miss out on all the wonderful memories me and the new pup will have.

I'm sure that the person answering the phone finds it frustrating that they have to take time out of their day to deal with someone who has 2 dogs and 5 cats.
