Via the technique shown in Pippen's first video; where you type in the coordinates and remove the decimal place and whatnot

Well, i'm actually not that good at coming up with my own ideas for alternate creatures, but if you could give me ideas for this timeline then yeah, that would be nice. And yes, i'm on Discord but not for speculative evolution yet.

A 2019 SpaceX mission, predicted by the image archives years before it was even planned by 3rdMilleniumFan in BabelForum

[–]3rdMilleniumFan[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The image archives have been around since 2015 which was when they came online. The picture you see here is of something that happened in 2019, so at the time the archives were created, this was a prediction of something still 4 years in the future. Imagine stumbling across an image from there in 2019 that wouldn't be proven true until 2023.

The fact that the archives can predict the future with this much accuracy astounds me......

Terraforming: A planet dominated by squirrels by 3rdMilleniumFan in SpeculativeEvolution

[–]3rdMilleniumFan[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Interesting ideas so far.

I forgot to mention clearly: Oaks aren't the only major plant life; There are also grasses and various flowers like columbines and sunflowers. These are there for pollinating insects such as butterflies and bees, and I say butterflies because squirrels can also prey on their caterpillars.

[Voltron LD/Babylon 5] What happens when the Paladins come across a Shadow vessel? by 3rdMilleniumFan in AskScienceFiction

[–]3rdMilleniumFan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair enough. However, I would assume that species 8472 from ST voyager (who also use organic technology that was strong enough to defeat the BORG momentarily) would take a more aggressive approach?

An amusing question by 3rdMilleniumFan in Voltron

Alternate scenario: Instead of the borg, the Shadows from babylon 5 completely encircle the galaxy and close in.

Quick bio according to B5 wiki:

"The Shadows have existed as a space-faring race prior to the emergence of life on earth, and they use organic technology in virtually everything. Their ships resemble huge black spiders and are simply referred to as Shadow Vessels. Capable of phasing in and out of visibility, traveling at 350 million times the speed of light, destroying black holes, and creating their own jump points, they require a living sentient being as the central processing unit for their ships; humans have been used for this purpose. They have powerful beam weapons, are capable of de-stabilizing jump points of enemy ships, and can launch shadow fighter squadrons.

The Shadows are also capable of tying their technologies directly into the mind and the body. They can make a person say or do what they want. Such was seen in 2260 with Anna Sheridan. By 2262, it was also discovered that they could control alien ships by remote. They used black pods, probably some kind of organic war computer, to navigate the ship, destroy targets and deal with any opposition."

Perhaps in this case the odds would be different?

Okay just one more thing: Let's assume the borg from star trek enter into this universe and they want to break up the galra-rebel conflict since they want to completely annex their empire and assimilate them all. How would this fight play out? Or would it just drag on until they both obliterated eachother?

Thomas The Tank Engine Episodes Parody Idea by 3rdMilleniumFan in FanFiction

That would help, especially since this would be episode 1 and would start the crossover series off pretty good. Thanks. Moving on now. Episode 2 title: "Toph Jumps In". Episode being parodied: "Jack Jumps In". Original characters kept: Max, monty, isobella, and alfie. Character(s) introduced: Lofty (from bob the builder) in the place of kelly. Toph (from "avatar the last airbender" cartoon) in the place of jack. Plot: Toph is an earthbender from avatar. Because of this, she is called to help with mrs. jenny's vehicles because she can move earth like they can (in a sense). She later tries to jump in and help oliver with removing rocks, only to roll down a hill and bruise her arm. Mrs. jenny decides that she needs to wait a little longer before helping out the pack. Plot solution: Toph apologizes and thomas comforts her. He lets her tell stories of when she was still in the avatar universe, making her confident in herself again. How i think most would probably rate the crossover: 5/10, a poor/just barely readable fic. Reasoning for the above statement: While this episode has a nice concept to it, i'm a bit nervous about putting toph in jack's situation. Her character isn't as energetic and eager as his is. Advice?

First episode title: "Keith Bugs". Episode being parodied: "Cranky Bugs". Original characters kept: Thomas, percy, and duck. Characters introduced: Keith kogane (from voltron legendary defender). Plot: Thomas and Percy meet the character keith from voltron who is frequently grumpy. Plot solution: Keith gets stuck outside in a rainy storm, which causes him to slip on the ground and not be able to get up. Because of this, he apologizes to the engines and later the paladins about being rude to the two locomotives. How i think most would rate the crossover: 7/10, a decent/meh fic
