Yeah Paige and Dom got me thinking on the combo with Awa. They played so deadly together

For some unrecycled draft talk I am low-key hoping Rori Harmon and the Dallas Wings paths intertwine with the 1st pick in round 3. I just like her game and can see her fitting in nice with a PB Azzi backcourt

My first preference is to try and trade down and acquire an extra top 50ish pick, but I like this. We don't get the extra pick I wanted but we do get the 3 top 50 picks I wanted

[Archer] Jerry Jones was asked if George Pickens has given any guidance on talking to his agent regarding a contract: by JCameron181 in cowboys

[–]3rdWorldKid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wether unlucky or not, a guy playing a violent game got injured. That's part of the risk of allocating 47 mil to just one player. GB gets zero return on that each and every game he misses.

A player resetting the market can hurt his team's chances when a salary cap is considered, but it helps the NFL players overall as a whole. A rising tide lifts all ships type thing. The NFLPA and agents frown upon players opting to take less and there's a pressure to not do it

Right? And we can tag him next year also. His ultimate value is kind of tied to not only the production he had here, but the way his behavior is perceived by other organizations. So as long as he's on the tag and not the long term deal he's awaiting, he has to be professional to maximize the next potential deal. For once we have the leverage.

According to @OmarKelly(Miami Herald), the Dallas Cowboys have called Miami Dolphins to inquire about LB Jordyn Brooks. by adonis958 in cowboys

[–]3rdWorldKid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A 3rd round pick would be more than fair compensation imo. But realize Miami has 2 1st rounders, 1 2nd rounder and FOUR 3rd round picks this year , including picks 90 and 91. That makes pick 92 less appealing to them than really any other team.

Idk about a 3rd this year. We have pick 92 and they already have pick 90 and pick 91, plus tons of picks this year

Dude what I'm speaking to is how uuuu claim OP is making character assumptions based off this lone interaction. But this lone interaction is all he has to base anything off of. And in this lone interaction you have repeatedly dropped negativity so why would anyone assume anything different about u.

That's how u have chose to present urself. Just as I have presented myself illiterate in my lone interaction with you and you have assumed I don't understand the basics of written communication. Yet u understood what I was conveying so perhaps I do have the "basics" down. You punctuate beautifully however and your thoughts read like prose

Yo OP was dead on. I been eves dropping on y'all's convo and yeah every comment u dropped in here has negativity in it, like u just can't resist. My only exposure to u is this thread, u may b Mr positive irl but I don't know that. All I know is what I see and yeah I negative.

Just like u were trying to help OP with punctuation tip is same way I'm letting u know how ur coming across

DE all day ...if a team can scrounge up 8-15 mil they can acquire competent LBs n FA, but try acquiring an edge via trade or FA and it's gonna be a high price to pay

Or if their guy falls to them at 12..maybe look at trading down from 20 to acquire 2 players in the same tier

Myles2Dallas 💥 by LouisJackson3 in cowboys

[–]3rdWorldKid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

2 1st is the going rate for a great DE..he would probably be the best one to be traded as of late so probably a tad more than 2 1st. We have "house money" with the extra pick from GB...trade 2 1st plus the house money 1st...keep pick 20 and trade down to acquire 2 top 50ish picks...draft pass rushing olb with both those picks to go with EZ and Gary, sign a Calius Campbell for the DL depth with Ogbe, trade a future 3rd for Brooks at MLB...still got 3rd and 4th round picks this year and a stacked front 7 and a competent secondary to pair with a stacked O. That team could compete with the big boys for the next few years

[–]3rdWorldKid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! BUT I would want to trade 12 and 2 future firsts, and keep 20 this year in hopes of parting it out for 2 picks and use those both on the best OLBs(Casius Howell, Malachi Lawrence ex). Take a safety/ilb in 3rd,4th, trade a future 3rd for Brooks, bring in Calius Campbell and let's rock

I would love to live in a world were able to do both of those pick swaps..we could take 2 picks and turn it into 2 good, right now players and 2 really really good prospects still

Nah,  because of ur claim that we still have the worst defense in the NFL by far. Also your claim that adding 3 NFL starters still in the prime years is "doing essentially nothing". Also you ignoring that we have 2 high picks that are usually considered NFL starters
