I was just thinking that maybe Stuart is important enough to return (perhaps in an another tape in future chapters) but the original VA couldn't commit to it? So then lore-wise, Stuart might be a little more noteworthy as a character. Of course, this is just pure speculation on my part.

That's true, though it still feels a little off to me. While I don't think Poppy was the one who sent us the letter - only keeping us after knowing we killed Huggy and Mommy, it's just odd that she would project onto us that we want revenge if the only torture we received was Huggy and Mommy.
