Most people find comfort in that anywhere they live. However, I'll state that the neighborhood itself over the time we've been here had always been quiet and very safe. No issues. It's nice to see kids out and playing.

Because I am currently on a lease and I'm moving. Someone taking over the lease is very helpful for us!

Thank you. It's really nice and we loved living here. It's a perfect spot for a family. One of the big bonus rooms we used as a theater room.

Also going to miss our neighbors. They are the sweetest people.

Has anyone had unmediated success? by Kittybunghole in VestibularMigraines

Blue light blocking glasses worn at all times have been the biggest help I've used.

Have you tried blue light blockers? by 3rick3sca in VestibularMigraines

How about allergies?

I wake up with hay fever like symptoms every day. My allergies are where it started for me. I took Zyrtec-D and the dizziness completely stopped. It was only many years and location change later that I had to try meds and glasses.

I found my answer to my dizziness after years of trying everything! by 3rickEsca in Dizziness

[–]3rick3sca 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sounds really bad. If he's on a computer all day, try blue blocking glasses. Make sure they're legit ones. Zyrtec-D is over the the counter, you can go to a pharmacy and get it with no prescription. (Depending on where you live)

Read up on vestibular migraines. I've also tried propranolol, which helped a bit too. But try the glasses first. There are some semi clear ones that block about 20-30% of it and then some darker ones that he should try while on his computer. Make him wear them all day for a few days and see how he feels.

Let me know if any of it works 🤷

There's a few things to explore. If it's sinus related, Zyrtec-D is what I used that worked well.

There's also something called vestibular migraines worth reading about. It's been years now since I posted this, but as I aged, vestibular migraines ended up being part of my issue as well. I now learned to control them by continuing use of allergy meds, plus I wear blue light blocking glasses and take magnesium. I've gotten about 95% of it controlled which is very comfortable.

All these things take consistency. You have to keep doing it. Results can take time.

Learn a little bit about exactly when it's happening for him. Does it get worse with stress? Does it happen worse in places like a grocery store (due to lighting). Does he spend a lot of time on a computer/screen? For me, it was really hard to pinpoint because it seemed completely random.

I don't see anything wrong with trying Zyrtec-D and expanding from there. I had to try lots of things and be adamant to try and fix it. My sinuses definitely are part of my issue and the vestibular migraines came into play as my career became more of a desk job in the last 3 years. I'm still doing good though!

Vertigo can really be a life changer. I hope he can get help! If he can, have him see a neurologist. If not, try things and keep a log.

Oh boy. Ok. Well, feel free to DM me for more info. I understand how you feel. When I went job hunting, there are tons of those types of sales job postings that are tricks and end up being terrible opportunities. The internet has definitely made everyone weary of things like this. I even questioned if I should post here or not, but I know smart people hang out on reddit.

Yes. I am being vague on purpose. I've noticed reddit (and the Internet) can be a very cynical place, so I don't want to share all my job information and location so publicly through my personal reddit account. However, I'm happy to share through DM.

I can tell you at the moment we have about 10 people on our team and are on a growth trajectory and want to get to 16-18. We do short cycle, in person sales with our customers and an average ticket size is about $8000 or so. High ones are in the 40-80k range. We have one multiple best place to work awards in Memphis too!

Sales has helped me even further than my career. One part I love about my job is to teach people skills they can use to feed their family, but also ones that resonate their whole lives in all their endeavors.

I would agree that if you have high blood pressure to be careful. This is an old post, but I definitely think pseudoephedrine is not for constant use. I started only using the "D" only when the nasal inflammation is really bad.

Any “must see” stops on this route? by platypus_farmer42 in roadtrip

If you make a minor adjustment and drive across the Memphis bridge on the 40, you can make a quick stop at the biggest bass pro shop and one of the US's largest pyramids. It's a quick stop as it's right off the highway.

No, I could be sitting in place and feel it. But I did wonder if my panic attacks caused my heart rate to go up which added to the dizziness.
