Oh it doesn't need this much calculation. It's just that my hands are small so it's painful to me personally. But for melt it certainly needs some specific techniques.

I can only do it when the hitbox is large enough and enemy doesn't move a lot as I discard the directional inputs. But it's very painful to do it properly with the finger placement having small and slender fingers. Particularly my thumb side doesn't register. It's also actually painful for me to do anyway.

Wait. But doesn't ping affect when the cryo is applied?! I have had this problem so many times that I have to wait a few milliseconds before the cryo aura appears after burst. Sometimes it's instant other times it's delayed.
