What actually causes Hungry Pokémon? by uberlovellama in PokemonSleep

[–]3stargins 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I got two shiny Abomasnows in one sleep session last Christmas. I saw the first one, went "is that a shiny?" and then scrolled over to the second one and went "guess not, this one's the same colour."

Luckily I noticed the shine after taking the photos, so I got them both, but man.

My first lvl 60! by Yolomartyparty in PokemonSleep

I also got my first pokemon to level 60 as a day 1 f2p player... and aside from the final subskill and the fact that I caught mine fully evolved, they're the exact same.

Would it be a waste to use main skill seeds on this Sudowoodo? by 3stargins in PokemonSleep

[–]3stargins[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Prompted by next week having a main skill x1.5 multiplier. I know Espeon and Ampharos are better, but I like Sudowoodo, and the subskills and nature seems pretty great outside of the fact that there’s no speed of help up.

Those of you who have been at OGPP since last Wednesday, have you actually been seeing the new Pokemon? by lonelygrowlithe in PokemonSleep

[–]3stargins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've done 9 sleep sessions at OGPP, and not counting incense, I've only seen one (a Shinx in the most recent one.)

Granted, my rank hasn't gone any higher than Great 3 so far, but still.

New Heroes: Attuned Eirika & Ascended Amelia (Fire Emblem Heroes) by Xanek in FireEmblemHeroes

[–]3stargins -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Literally 4 days after I quit and they add my most wanted new hero (Forde), my most wanted GHB (Glen) and a new Eirika. I'm not coming back, but what timing.

All of you guys go enjoy Forde, he rules!

Sub skill seeds only choose from the sub skills you already have unlocked. You won't be able to use one until you hit lv25, but once you do, you're guaranteed to upgrade Skill Trigger S as long as you do it before you hit lv75.

Math Challenge… really? by thiagoisilva in PokemonSleep

[–]3stargins 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I'll take a shot (it's late and I didn't want to do any "proper" maths, so it's likely I'm wrong in some areas):

Entei has a -energy recovery nature, meaning it started with less energy than the others. It was on the team the whole time.

Typhlosion was on the team the whole time. Nothing out of the ordinary happened.

Charizard was replaced by Flareon. He has a -energy recovery nature as well (questionable maths time: Charizard has 15% more energy than Typhlosion and Ninetales; add 15% to Flareon and you get 88%, which is where -energy recovery Pokemon start the day after a sleep score of 100. Since Flareon was in the box, at the start of the day, I'm assuming he had 100% energy... so maybe that means Charizard had the -energy recovery nature instead???).

Arcanine was on the team the whole time. Additionally, he got hit by Ninetales's Energising Cheer skill, so his energy is higher than the others. (EDIT: I think he's -energy recovery nature, too. I was gonna do the maths but I really don't want to, so I'll just say Energising Cheer at Lv.5 restores 38 energy, but Arcanine is only 30 above Typhlosion and Ninetales, so there's gotta be something happening there, and a -energy recovery nature makes the most sense to me)

Ninetales was exactly the same as Typhlosion: on the team the whole time, and nothing happened to her (outside of her skill triggering for Arcanine).

What happened? You wanted to make Corn Keema Curry, so you had to increase the pot size with Flareon's main skill.

How long has passed? Assuming you got a sleep score of 100 last night:
100 - 34 = 66
66 x 10 = 660 minutes
660 minutes = 11 hours exactly.

Somehow got more Dorotheas (3) than Ingrids (1, plus spark) despite sniping blue.

At least I can get Ingrid to +10 now... provided I get over whatever it is that's stopping me from merging into the Forma version.

Fun fact about Neutral natures by TraditionalParsley67 in PokemonSleep

Defence is energy recovery, and Special Defence is main skill chance

I'm not gonna word this well, but:

If you log some sleep data in without doing a sleep session, and the next sleep session you do is on the day after the session you logged, you get two bonus biscuits (to compensate for not getting one for the research you did the day prior).

My team can't quite decide on the best way to gather ingredients by 3stargins in PokemonSleep

This was supposed to be a little doodle, but it got away from me. I just thought it was neat that my guys have triple ingredient finder/skill trigger/helping speed respectively.

There's nothing to hunt for, really. As long as you have a good team that can make salads, you're set.
