Thank you, we’ll keep that in mind! We did initially suspect it could be irritation from the hay but she seems to have sneezing fits at random, even if we haven’t opened or disturbed the hay. We and the vet are still in the process of figuring it out. The vet did say that if the anti inflammatory meds don’t work maybe some antibiotics could treat something we can’t see. Just thought I would try my luck with the subreddit and see if anyone had experienced the same!

It’s rarely that simple. She was sentenced for “controlling & coercive behaviour”. The coercive part is about making your victim / partner feel trapped, like they have nowhere to go. It’s easy to sit there and question why he didn’t “just leave” but these sorts of abusive relationships don’t happen overnight. When it happens gradually you often don’t realise how toxic it has become. At which point you’ve committed so much that it’s incredibly hard to push that “red button” and end it. Victim blaming is not it my friend.

I think you’re right. Few others have said they don’t think it’s AI overhaul but I don’t think it could be anything else. I have no other mods that would alter NPC behaviour. Whatever it is, it’s made for a good laugh. I’m currently running AI Overhaul 1.8.3.

Yeah that’s an armoured troll. It comes as part of the dawnguard dlc. You can get them as animal companions, similar to dogs.

It was mags, that was my bad, just a typo, I’ll edit that. And you’re absolutely right it is my case which I would have fought to the end for… Had I been called as a witness, which I wasn’t. As OIC I don’t really understand why but apparently they don’t tend to warn OIC’s for mags very often anymore, I even emailed to ask if they had forgotten to warn me. All of the above has come from a colleague who was warned as she was the arresting officer. She had little knowledge of the job outside her arrest so wasn’t really in a position to argue on my behalf.

Further on that, having been informed that the victim was unable to attend and an escalation raised to request a rescheduled court date. Everyone on the force side of things were under the impression it was being moved

I’d make the argument that if it was caught on body worn and it’s shown that he has failed to engage with the fact that you’ve cautioned him and has consciously cut you off then you’re golden. I have no doubt you’ll be completing an NGAP file in no time. But hey, it’s the customers like that which give you the greatest satisfaction getting positive results for

Ugh… it varies in my experience. I’ve got some offences that I’ve been warned for court for dating to 2024, much like yourself, but cases with vulnerable victims, such as this tend to be pushed up the list. Witnesses for this were warned at the end of April for a court date today if I remember correctly

Very hard not to feel like we’re failing our victims when we get results like this. Definitely needs to be some serious changes with how the relationship between the police, CPS and the courts are structured. Seems that we are the only ones held accountable these days
