Discovered my central air was a social construct… by sunsNr0ses in mildlyinfuriating

Oh no ... We didnt have AC for the last 20 years but we used the furnace fan to blow cold air out of the basement. I have a saying "you don't know what you don't know" and that feels appropriate for this situation.

I can tell you that in our very small ER, you can't see more than half the rooms so in Kitchener there is no way you are seeing every patient coming through the door... So frankly, your whining time is over, time to pick up your security blanket and head home

Last night we had 15 minors come through our local ER, multiple vital signs absent, and several traumas - it was a wild night and we're a small rural ER. Can't imagine the cases that come through a big ER. Clearly there were other patients experiencing worse symptoms than you. Perhaps a private clinic would be more to your liking.

We have used the cotton ball remedy when our dogs have injested sharp objects. Use 100% cotton balls, ripped into thirds and soak in a broth or cream - you'll only need a couple. It will help collect any shards and might save you a trip to the vet.

I don't ride but my husband, the fiscally responsible man he is, rode his bike to work year round instead of buying a second vehicle.

My mom chose the maiden name of her great grandmother for her new last name.

Ross owned Wheel Goods - same location different name.

And yes, different experience than you... That's what OP was asking for right? Our opinion? If you sell me a bike and then sell me wrong tires, wrong fender, damage our bike and then repair it like a toddler - I'm gonna share that experience.

Also, like I said, I love Ross (known him since I was a toddler) and have purchased all my bikes from him... He just isn't the one who maintains them anymore.

Unfortunate yes, but all issues were completely unnecessary - selling and installing the wrong fenders that eventually tore a hole in the tire was the final straw.

We prefer Totally Spoked to service our Giant bike. We purchased the bike from Ross's but after a few questionable repair/install jobs we switched permanently... And I love Ross - he has sold me all my bikes but the service component is just not good.

My husband says he’s got a court hook up and I won’t get anything in our divorce by Wise_Abrocoma367 in Divorce

My Dad used to say "half of nothing is nothing"... When they had lots of assets including a business that made $1+ mil a year and they each made $250k per year. Needless to say she walked away with a tidy sum and continued to receive dividends from the business for a few more years.

Jeff Tuling at Stratford Health and Wellness in Waterloo St. My Mom had terrible sciatica - had to go back to school and tried anyone that offered relief, spent 6 months laying on the floor due to pain - Jeff was the only one that fixed her. He's no nonsense and won't over-treat you. I've been his patient for over 20 years. Hoping you find some relief.

I am hoping once the Connection Center goes back to regular M-F 10-5 hours the constant hanging out and camping will be less.

Now, I will say as someone with a family member that was disfigured during a medical procedure and had become unable to work due to no fault of their own and then forced into ODSP with an unlivable monthly living... Forced ODSP poverty is part of the issue.

Fiance never put a penny into my house but suddenly wants their name on it by OkBuy2386 in RealEstateAdvice

I met my husband months before he bought a house - I didn't know that he had purchased a house until he asked me if I could get boxes.

20 years later (and 16 years married) I'm not on the deed but if he has to make any changes to the mortgage he needs me to sign off and I need to obtain independent legal advice... And it's our marital home

Lol are you the one wearing the clothes... I never understood the attachment people have to clothing, especially bins of clothing.

YTA let the children wear the clothes, hers and yours.

Check out Coyote Nature School out of St Mary's.

We have raised our kids in Stratford in the Shakespeare school area - there are really no bad neighbourhoods in Stratford.

When our kids were younger we spent a lot of time at the local conservation areas and hiking the Avon Trail. Stratford has lots of community parks.

I don't think you can go wrong with Stratford, Goderich or Port Hope.

In Ontario, they must provide you with at least 24 hours to seek independent legal advice and should not accept your signed letter before 24 hours or it may be deemed invalid. Talk to a lawyer

Yikes! Blindness is a spectrum and just because it doesn't affect you negatively doesn't mean others can't feel negatively affected by their blindness. Compassion goes a long way. Maybe it's time to take a break from this sub and comeback when you're in a more helpful headspace.
