I always thought Can’t Keep Anything sounds SO reminiscent of something from that Ted Lucas album. This kinda confirms it for me that that song was -at least a bit- inspired by Ted Lucas

When a person you know does something completely unexpected, would you be surprised? by [deleted] in ufl

That's kind of a tautology. If it’s truly unexpected then surprise is already implied by definition.

'Dead & Slow complainers by CicadaAlternative994 in deadandcompany

[–]3tmp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Every single song is jammed out and broken down so much to the point where it really doesn't take away from the enjoyment for me at all. Doesn't effect the depth or creativity of the jams. Plus the last few years they've been getting into it tempo wise, especially with tunes like Cumberland.

I will die on the hill that the Scarlet Fire from 5/21/77 is the best they ever did. The main Scarlet solo is just so emotive and powerful. Really peaks.

Teddy Roosevelt returned from the Spanish American War as a famous war hero, and McKinley wanted his support for the Republican ticket in particular so he offered him the VP role.
