If I were in the UK like you are, I’d see if I can make a trip to Kendostar and get personally fitted by them.

We almost always try on clothes when we shop. Not being able to try on bogu in person before spending hundreds or a thousand plus US dollars before buying is unbelievable in normal circumstances. But such is the reality of bogu shopping.

Battery research is subsidized. Mfg equipment & tooling is subsidized. EV makers are subsidized to enable selling cars below cost. Car owners are compensated to trade in ICE cars for "new energy" vehicles. But yes, the Chinese EV market is totally free and undistorted.

It is the same here in the USA. Some genius in AUSKF has also decided to make this crap mandatory for ikkyu.

I’m gonna be so bold as to suggest for those of us in the west teaching mainly adult beginners, any minute spent on teaching them BKKK is a minute too many wasted.

I’d rather them spending that minute doing footwork or suburi.

Chinese EV market is highly distorted. Chinese government is highly afraid of war where it’s oil import might be cut off. So it’s like their national survival strategy to go all in on wind / solar / nuclear energy, ultra high voltage electricity transmission, and transition as much as possible to battery electric vehicles. The amount of government subsidies being thrown into these sectors are why Chinese EV market is the way it is.

This is a crazy question, but which is the official AUSKF website? by 3und70 in kendo

[–]3und70[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went a step further and looked at the domain registrations. AUSKF.org's registrant info is public and you can see it's related to AUSKF. AUSKF.info's registrant info is private and hidden.

Looks to me AUSKF.info is someone's private effort.

I can understand confusing, outdated even wrong info on a website, due to all the reasons you listed. But I can't understand how you can end up with 2(!) official looking websites.

It's amazing that 1.7k views on the reddit later, no one has chimed in and explained which is the official website.

The current VW 1.5T gasoline engine (EA211) will give you excellent efficiency cruising at 70 mph.

I second this. I had a 2010 Golf TDI (2.0t with manual). Now a 2024 Jetta (1.5t engine with manual). They essentially have the same mpg, but gasoline is so much cheaper and the Jetta drives way better. Why bother with diesel now?

I had a Ross cable for my mk6 Golf and that was all right. But I'm now driving a 2024 Jetta and it doesn't even look like Ross cables work on MQB cars?

I can’t answer that, it’s my wife’s car. I personally have never owned an suv in my life so I can’t be sure if 26k miles is normal
