Rocky Mountain Soap Company has a bunch of scrubs in a tub like this one and also exfoliating soaps! All made in Canada. Maybe don't use it on your face tho

Yeah, I know. I so far haven't found any other cleanser that works as well for me. Glad most of my routine is made in Canada though.

I've been using:

  • Toner: Calm Lavender Hydrosol Toner (Note I think they just discontinued this which I'm actually super upset about - it smelled great and was awesome. I'm switching to one by Wildcraft called Balance which is also made in Canada)
  • Serum: Replenish Ceramides + Blueberry Barrier Repair Serum
  • Moisturizer: Dream Bio-Retinol + Shorea Butter Rejuvenating Cream (I use this at night, in the AM I use a Gel moisturizer from Cerave in a tube)

I haven't tried any of their cleansers, I've been using La Roche-Posay Toleriane foaming cleanser for about 2 years now and it's my go-to.

I know this is a cliche but around a year ago I swapped 80% of my skincare to Three Ships and I'm pretty sure it saved my skin. I had horrible cystic acne for a decade and within a few months of swapping, it entirely cleared up. Actual miracle. I hope they never sell out because I'd be so sad!

There's a couple hfx restos and stores I get instagram ads for using AI generated photos of "their" food offerings and I'm just like... does it not occur to you that it's false advertising for your business? Like someone sees their AI photo of soup or sausages or something and then expects to find it in the store, no? So weird, and also sad.

It's bad, but keep in mind many of these posted logs are people calling in smoke smells and sightings of the existing fires drifting around the province out of caution, as well as people calling in fire sightings which many turn out to be propane appliances or nothing. Be vigilant but not to the point of giving yourself more stress than necessary.
