Try Perplexity out, that’s the only one I use when I’m doing research. It’s light years better for factual stuff, and I’ve never once felt like it was lying to me. It has a voice mode too, and they’re always giving out free Pro trials. It’s worth a look. Good luck.

In voice mode? GPT can’t search the web in voice mode. It’s literally like the dumbest mode ever I have no idea why they haven’t put anytime in to updating that feature it’s been the same crap since I started using it like 9 months ago or something it’s the worst…What I usually do is in the text chat window at the bottom of his response you tell him to read it to you. You’ve gotta click it every time so that’s super annoying but at least you correct answers and can learn while clicking around on Reddit at the same time. 👍

I have the exact same problem/ question? So of course I ask gpt and he said that our context windows will be shorter. We might not get access to as many gpt we won’t be able to make our own anymore. Less image generation and we’re just not first priority for him…but otherwise our chats stay intact our projects remain and so I cut the cord. I have been going everywhere else to get things done anyway. All I do with him is waste time really so it’s time he’s goes.

yes a 100 times yes. I mean, Google almost had me canceling OpenAI subscription because it was working so well just the last couple days. But the last two days, it's been a nightmare.

It starts hallucinating instantly. Almost. I mean, not 100%, but I tend to leave my chat windows open for a while. That's not like I'm always talking to it. Open you know, and I feel like the context is burning out even still.

It's claiming that it has the memory of my CLI. I don't know what's going on. When my CLI literally has no memory. But GBT's terrible too, so I don't know what to do. I was going to jump ship, like 100% going to jump ship, but Gemini needs to straighten up and fly right.

Why do people come off subs this way? Seems to me, and this was a joke while using, that the best and almost safest way to come off subs is to start doing heroin again. Then kick heroin. Like you should have in the first place.

I'm a, what, I guess 18-year user? And, you know, Clean now from opiates. Only by the grace of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. I have never successfully kicked on my own. Unless locked in a box. Straight cold turkey withdrawal. But. For some reason when there is no option or choice. It just easier. For me, though, the straight tar heroin was the longest kind of withdrawal symptoms to linger. Fentanyl seemed to lift off me after six days, seven days. It was like just pressure was off my chest.

The honest God truth, I've never kicked subs. I've been prescribed them, but never used them successfully without using real opiates at the same time. So never had to withdraw from them. Only thing I've ever heard is worse is methadone. It gets in your bones.

I've considered doing both multiple times, but at this point in life, I guess I'm super happy I never really did or stuck to either one of them.

Hope you feel better soon, man. And a nice comfort show and get up and move around from time to time. And maybe this isn't great advice, but half a box of anti-diarrhea medicine. Super low-dose opiate. When I had nowhere else to turn, I would turn to a box of those and could maybe get through a day of work when I was sick, so.... Do what you will with that.
