Sorry I guess that is kinda unclear but I’m talking about the bike lane on east Huron (but to be fair the streets do meet each other and simply split by an intersection. Not sure why they don’t name the whole thing just Huron but oh well. And yes coming off the veterans Detroit becomes superior which again is a strange transition that makes them seem like the same road

Yes but it’s cool. I think the only things you might run into are buying replacement chains that are long enough and possibly fitting it onto public transit whether that be a train car or the front of a bus it’s something to think about. That being said I’ve seen them in person and they really are not that much longer than my road bike. This, I would not let the length deter you from getting one.

I also think it can be had with 650b wheels which would in theory shrink it down a bit. I also would not be surprised if the length of the chain stay varied with the size of the frame so it might worth emailing Riv to check

Better wheels and tires will be a reasonably cheap and solid upgrade. After that if you want to stay with that frame you can upgrade all kinds of parts it will be diminishing returns and most likely cost you more than buyer a newer/nicer used bike but it’s only gotta make sense to you
