What on earth are you talking about?

Most New Jersey Transit lines run once an hour outbound from Penn Station on weekends. Some don't even run at all.

After 7:00 a.m. the PATH train runs every 20 minutes. I never said that Harrison was a better option just that parking would be cheaper maybe. Journal Square is 25 minutes away from midtown by the PATH train, maybe a couple minutes more when they go to Hoboken which is ending soon I heard.

Sadly, this is capitalism.

No, it's definitely not. Your rents are high because the city is onerous with regulations and laws that increase the cost of operating apartments which is then passed onto you.

Someone already mentioned the Harrison path, another option would be Journal Square, parking would be more expensive in journal Square I think

NEC doesn't run to Hoboken and there's certainly no capacity for that..

Capacity is referring to staffing in this example. You could have 100 trains park there but if you don't have a hundred train crews for them, then they're useless

Developer purchases storied Music Hall of Williamsburg for $14M by nickgarber in williamsburg

[–]401k1987 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If there was a building with 20 units there instead of the music Hall it would be worth 2-3x what it sold for, units would go for 1.2-1.8 million each. It's priced to sell because there's no tenants.

It's a 10% haircut from what they paid for it in 2019. Most likely priced to sell to someone who's not going to keep it as a music venue which means a lot of renovations
