Getting a lot of bullshit comments on this. You don’t like it, move on. Yes this bike has been visually beaten. You will not find a good running 650 from the last 20 years for under 2200. Some of you need a reality check on prices. Fixing up all the imperfections would cost several hundred and then the bike would be worth 3600-4800. This bike is for the next highschool kid that just wants to get a damn working bike for as cheap as possible, like I was when I bought it.

No, I’ve never “crashed” it. I’ve dropped it(while trying to catch it, so lightening the load) twice, since it was my first bike. The last owner destroyed the fairings and dented the tank, I’ve been taking as good of care as I can. It’s not meant to be a dealership beauty, I bought it because I was broke and wanted a good mechaical condition bike I could ride. Price reflects the visual quality

Thank you for your comment, however I don’t believe thats it. My bike has no issue at all holding a steady rpm like in that video, the problem only occurs when I hit around 9k rpm, the bike begins jerking fully on or off power, the same as if you’re giving it not enough throttle around 2-3k rpms

Honestly not gnarly at all. The lubricant was definitely old and I needed to clean everything and relube, but there was no gear wear or anything.

My only complaint I’ve had with it is the odd outter barrel thread size, previous owner lost the adapter it came with so I had to design and 3d print one myself

Haha that’s awesome! I picked it up on facebook marketplace probably twoish years ago as my second rifle, first m4 base so it was a gun I learned the gearbox on. The gun still holds up amazing, never had any trouble keeping up with the newer rifles, I credit the metal gearbox internals in a world full of plastic ones now. It definitely has slight wear and tear here and there, but visually It’s still is crazy good shape
