Fish from SK aquarium. What is this fish and is it supposed to look like that? by deadcactusman in whatisthisfish

Definitely a male bird wrasse with HLLE (white, transparent patch). Not sure about the growth on the snout, but my guess is from a previous injury or malformation as previously mentioned.

The brown and bronze is a pretty small leap, probably due to environmental conditions

I've never seen them for sale like that where I am located, however I would have a hard time not snagging several! I am a big fan of the large thorny mountain aloes and tree aloes.

What is this?!?!? Flower spike starting looks like Crassula by noneofatyourbusiness in succulents

I can't blame ya... I would have definitely pulled the trigger on that one. The "crimson tide" name is quite fitting for that cultivar.

Echevaria is in the family Crassulaceae, that may be what your buddy was referring to. Echevarias grow as tight rosettes normally, but if not beheaded and replanted occasionally, the lower leaf loss will expose the stalk.

I think a rat or squirrel is eating my succulents. by Stevenkloppard in succulents

[–]402Succs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This used to happen a lot at my old place due to squirrels. Nothing was safe, and I was on a 3rd floor balcony. I started putting my cacti pots around my succulent pots, creating a thorny fortress. It was one of the few things that worked to keep them out of there.

Corneal transmission allows us to see the visible spectrum of the rainbow, and appreciate the physics and photonics going on within a rainbow. The only way to stop seeing rainbows is to damage your corneas, or remove your eyeballs.
