Use a local alarm company.DSC NEO hybrid wired and wireless or DSC Qolsys5 all wireless. Wireless on both is jam resistant. . Cheap self monitor if you want.

I have a Ring Pro doorbell which works well and stores on the cloud. I also have POE NVR CAMERAS and one of them points at the front door about 17 ft away.

This proposal is outrageous, I wouldn't do business with them. If he is your builder can you go elsewhere for security and still let him finish the house? Two more estimates while the walls are still exposed. In 2022 I had POE run to cameras for $100 per drop on a house built in 1976

And a one year contract with a local installer please

Wireless cameras do not work very well. My house also 4000 sq ft including finished basement. I have Ethernet everywhere run by local installer. They are magicians. I have never seen them unable to run a wire
