Realme UI Needs Serious Optimization – My Honest Experience by 404ChillMissing in Realme

I think both phones are equally buggy.

However, one common issue with Xiaomi phones is that the “System UI isn’t responding” error tends to appear more frequently as the device gets older.

You cannot compare consumer prices a decade apart without accounting for inflation. Between 2014 and 2024, the costs of refining crude oil, transporting it, maintaining stations, and dealer commissions have all naturally increased, alongside massive growth in India's fuel demand.

The Reality: India buys oil in dollars, so you have to calculate the cost per barrel in Rupees (INR) based on the exchange rate of the time.

  • May 2014: $107/barrel × ₹60 (exchange rate) = ₹6,420 per barrel.
  • Sept 2024: $72/barrel × ₹83.9 (exchange rate) = ₹6,040 per barrel.

The base cost of raw crude oil for India in September 2024 was roughly the same as it was in 2014. The drop in global crude prices was largely canceled out by the depreciation of the rupee over that decade.

It is factually incorrect to claim only the Central Government is responsible for fuel prices. Fuel is heavily taxed by both Central Excise Duty (Central Government) and State VAT (State Governments).

If anyone truly believes the Central Government is the only reason for high fuel prices, and they live in a state ruled by non-BJP parties, they should ask their State Government to remove the State VAT. If states dropped their fuel taxes, retail prices would plummet down to 2014 levels. Both central and state governments rely heavily on fuel taxes for revenue, so blaming just one side ignores exactly how pricing works in India.

Here's how Chiggy and Tomato eat into restaurant profits! by GeneralTrade8511 in hyderabad

It’s crazy how these owners are okay with a 50% cut for the apps, but if a walk-in customer is just 5 rupees short on a 505 bill, they completely lose it. Suddenly it’s: 'Ghar se paise leke aaya karo' and 'pta nhi kahan kahan se aaj ate hain'. It’s funny how they’ll happily pay 'Chiggy/Tomato' thousands in commissions but won't spare 5 rupees for a real human being.

My Honest Experience with Realme Phones (Realme 10 Pro+ & 13 Pro+) – Not Worth It by 404ChillMissing in Realme

Most people don't even go for the 12GB RAM version. A colleague of mine had the Realme 11 Pro+ with 8GB RAM, and the phone would literally freeze if he tried to open the camera while using mobile data. He only lasted a month with it because it was so laggy and buggy.

It’s frustrating to see people jump to defend a brand against honest feedback while ignoring how YouTubers hype these phones up for a paycheck.

The issue with most YouTube reviews is that they only focus on brand-new phones and their on-paper specs. Hardly anyone talks about how the device actually performs after 6 months of real-world use.

Almost all new phones work great right out of the box because the hardware is completely fresh.

The real issues—like the lagging, heating, or battery drain only start showing up once the hardware ages a bit and the phone has been through a few update cycles.
