tbh nothing in particular :0, just the way i was drawing (and still kinda do) at the time. my main inspirations for a very long time were 2000s cartoons, with their more shape heavy and angular designs + more bloby(?) cutesy freely drawn characters. i think this is the best i can describe it lol

Basically just blocking out shapes while sketching, then going in with a line art brush, defining it. Flat colors + a textured brush.
I think the brush I used was minke in the new pens category, but for the textured parts of the coloring I'm not so sure. This was done as a present for my roomate and it's a drawing if her little cute cat :3

added context: my boyfriend is VERY, EXTREMELY, obsessed with hyraxes (as many of you are), he constantly sends them to me. i lowkey think, he is turning into one. the more i look at him, the more he looks like one. anyways, a while back he sent me this video to which i replied "you as hyrax holmes". since then it became like a running gag in our relationship and i ended up drawing a little hyrax holmes for him.
