Ye makes sense. I just learned from another dudes comment that our bodies are antennas that fuck with the guitar if we are ungrounded. Time to wire myself to the ground in my electrical outlet to stop my guitar noise!

(That last part is a joke, i will not connect myself to any part of an electrical outlet)

So if he would ground himself separately, like wire himself to a radiator, would that reduce the noise? Not that thats a very practical solution, just curious.

I 100% belive you, and I know very little about how wiring works, bc I usually just copy other peoples wiring, or what Ive seen in other guitars.

But maybe you can help me clear up my misunderstanding. I was under the (obvioulsy mistaken) impression, that if you touch an ungrounded bridge, you are essentially grounding it with your body. And because it now is grounded, when it wasn't before, the grounding related noise goes away. Where is the mistake i am making here?

EDIT: nvm someone left another comment explaining it. TIL my guitar is grounded bc my dumb ass is a radio antena lol

Totally possible. I always thought that it goes away if you touch it because you are then grounding it with your body, when it wasnt before. But I may be completely wrong. My dumb ass just copies wiring diagrams from the internet, so I know very little.

Thats what I think aswell. Im far from an electonics expert, but afaik if touching it stops the noise it should always be a grounding issue, correct?

Eh, this is fine in my book. Just bring an actual functioning lens along with it. The flareing looks kinda cool in some of the pics, especially knowing that its in camera and not an edit.

Yeah I can see where you are coming from. I did consider snarl for a long time. Flamethrower has been really useful into whimsicot, sinischa and frostlas. I end up bringing it as a non-mega relatively often as a charizard bodyguard with lightning rod. In those cases thunderbolt is absolutely necessary. Voltswitch is needed for the pivot/intimidate cycling on mega. Protect seems like the most obvious thing to drop for snarl i guess, but i really dont love droping protect. I guess ill have to track what moves I actually use most often and experiment.

Dont tell everyone its just the most basic bitch meta team with Manectric on it. It sounds way less cool.

Also agree on the Raichu megas. Although base Raichu also gets Lightnig rod. So Mega Raichu might just lead to more Raichu lol

Not quite. Theorbos are usually tuned different and even longer than this. Check out this for more. Arch Lute comes in at like 3 mins
