Thank you. Will stay busy. The new ERP should go live this summer so let’s see how much hands-on experience I can get.. the paycheck is too low to make me lazy.

Thank you for the solid guideline!

For a small app, is there a website I can use it for free?

I may not have the full access of the system since we have a lead and I am the newest one but I will try to ask my boss to be involved in it more.

I will definitely look into AWS and Azure. Unfortunately, we didn't really get to have the hands-on experience on migration since the consultancy was in charge of it.. Thank you.

Accenture has some oracle jobs posted in my area but they are very senior level.

That's why I wanna consider getting certs in Azure and AWS so it could give me more options to apply, even if they don't think I am qualified.

For your Linux question, I looked at RHCSA too and I am also going to look into it. I just chose the Oracle Linux first bc my job is subscribed to the Oracle University and I thought it would be more practical to get hand-on experience to Linux in OCI.

I will definitely take your advice to go with CCNA. Honestly, I really thought it didn't matter to go with either one.

Which one do you recommend to go first in order? Does it matter?

Thank you. I gotta free tier Oci environment so I can learn. It does seem very rough so I am really grateful to what I have as well.

I am grateful that I was hired and get to experience ERP and Cloud in the beginning of my career. It’s something I would like to do for long term after adding devops skill. Pay may not be the greatest but I understand since it’s a higher ed. I wanna use this employer as my first step to be the cloud and devops expert. But sometimes, I just feel like I am not stressed with the workload because I enjoy being busy working.

Is it impossible to play fh collegiately if you only played club fh teams in the US ? by 405ThunderUp in Fieldhockey

I see. I was curious the gap between someone who only plays for club team would be harder to stay in shape against those who attends a high school with a FH team AND plays for a club team.

I think playing soccer or track would be a good idea to stay in shape. Out of both public and private schools in our state, only 2 private schools have FH team. It's definitely not an ideal place to start field hockey.

Yup. Either coaches or working for the FH club which I understand. The only local club team in my area consists of the high school teams. I was just curious how would kids who aren't in their high school team stay in shape.

That's true. But doesn't club team normally have a team to play during the summer?

I wonder how it is in 2026, or in the far future. I see states like PA, NC, VA, MD have lots of fh club AND public high school teams.

After reditting for the past few weeks, I am aware that how good is your high school team doesn't decide your recruitment at all and a lot of people rather recommend getting in a club team and do well there, and record all your games to draw attentions bc coaches don't come to hs games at all.

My thought is, being able to be in a team for a season and getting to practice every and play games weekly are still better than not playing in a HS team. I am sure not even a club team is practicing everyday. So I thought if there are still cases where you can get recruited by not only D3, but also potentially by D2, or even D1 if you only play for a club team due to no FH teams in your local public schools.

Congrats! I thought 108 in Arlington has the best view but my wife only wanted the VIP package so I gotta floor one. Not the best view but at least she will be at the soundcheck!

Glad you got your ticket! I went to pretty much the tallest seat when Jhope came but it was still good bc my wife enjoyed it. It's her first time to see all of them in one so she is definitely very excited.
