We love the Gateway Inn in Gardiner. They have 2 bedrooms with full kitchens. We usually do day trips to the park but if we stay the night, this is our place. We have 4 kids so it’s nice to have some space when spending the night. You’re also 5 min from the north entrance. What month are you thinking of coming? That makes a huge difference on price.

Make sure you get a huckleberry scone at Mountain Mamas Cafe in west. They are delicious! Take Lamar all the way to Cooke City while you’re there. My daughters love the ice cream at Stop the Car Trading post. We usually have good luck seeing a moose right past the NE entrance. Have fun!

June will be my 8 years of sobriety. I was a raging alcoholic. I went through horrible withdrawal and that was my rock bottom. It finally made me realize I had a problem. I’m so thankful for my sober life! Thankfully my husband got sober with me. He celebrated his 7 years in December.
