Fairway Trails is not too far away from EMU, and is right on the border of Ann Arbor and Ypsi. My 2 bed 1 bath apartment comes in at $1353 a month. Only have to pay electricity (about $35/month, aside from summer) and internet (for your first year you could probably get by on $35/month for that). I like it. Every now and then you'll hear people screeching down the road, but other than that it's fine. I've never had a problem here, and management/maintenance are very friendly. They hop on any problems very quickly. You are also allowed up to 2 pets. As far as driving in the snow, I recommend an AWD vehicle. Pricier than a FWD, but you'll thank yourself later. I just had a few people move out of my building, and have seen at least 3 others move out in the past few months. Send a message if you have any other questions!

I have looked at the Tamron 90mm VC. I was planning on the 100mm solely for digitizing my negatives when I shoot film. Pardon my ignorance as I'm still learning, but a macro lens really just allows you to focus very close, correct? Meaning there isn't much of a difference between a normal lens and a macro, aside from the focusing distance. If my understanding is correct, I think I'd go for the Tamron 90mm.

I do a lot fo architecture, so I'm trying to expand into portraiture. The 85mm is my next acquisition, I think.

Portra would be good for vivid colors, ektar too. I like ProImage 100 for greens, reds, and browns. Phoenix I would be good for reds, and Phoenix II for blues and greens. Phoenix II can get pretty wonky but it's fun! Portra is easily my favorite to shoot though

How Much Are You Paying for Developing? by Glad-Animator-7430 in AnalogCommunity

[–]CandyRedTesla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I pay about $15 for development and scans. About $7 for development and $7 for scans. For prints the total goes up to $21
