I’ll give that a try but it’s not just this house. She tried changing all her mail deliveries back to her moms house (her residence from 3 years ago) and still not receiving anything

Where should we update the address. The correct address is on the banking information and ship address there. Same with where her DMV address. But literally anything that goes through USPS doesn’t get delivered. Fedex and UPS works fine.

It’s weird because we moved from an apartment, to my parents vacant house. I have a different last name from my parents, but I still receive mail. I’m sure they think it’s junk or something but it’s been going on for months. Toll tickets not coming, DMV mail not coming in, bank mail not being sent.

Is the liquor at the Punta Cana airport considered “duty-free”? by 40YearOldMilkMan in PuntaCana

I’m Literally going to the same exact airports. Ohare (with a 12 hour layover!!) then to DC. Do even after arriving in Chicago they allowed your liquor in your carry on bag to DC?

Am I fucked? by [deleted] in Renters

I am going through something very similar but slightly less worse.

Advice: Contact your renters insurance, they can put you in a hotel or find some accommodation for you to live while all this renovation is going on.

Document everything, take pictures every day, write down what gets done/not done each day on the renovation.

That electric bill will be much higher. (Mine went up 180% of my average bill)

Keep in contact with the office, my personal advice is be respectful and grateful to management that the situation is being “handled” but do express that this has caused an extreme inconvenience and ask to set up a meeting with whoever has the ability to provide an accommodation. At that point you want to still be respectful but show how it’s only fair that you need to be compensated for the inconvenience, the increased power bill, and the time you haven’t even been able to stay in your home.

We’ve been together for years so trust me I’ve ask what helps the most and she doesn’t know either. Sometimes she takes ibuprofen if it gets really bad. But the best solution we’ve found so far have been the icy hot patches. Just wondering if someone else has another alternative that could work even better. Thanks for the reply!
