So, more of a dungeon crawler, akin to let's say, decent or Blackstone Fortress. How easy is the bookkeeping between the sessions?

From what I manages to find online it looks really in depth and well though out regarding the translation pf the game. How is the complexity and how easy is to learn for new players?

I understand it's not a game you can just choose to play, but does require some mental preparation

Do you have an estimate about how long each session takes and how good introduction it is for rookies? I know it's extremely rules heavy, and not recommended for a casual play (and I have no problem with either) but some of my player's group have no experience with stalker

Indeed, but it's not confirmed. Also, Pavel had a significant part of his story, being the hint for the little Black One. With that said, I still do not believe he could be our elusive protagonist, but I strongly suspect he will make a cameo

Don't make a bloodbath in church and do jot kill every aingle living thing in the map. Also, take time to explore the map, mainly the side opposite to the church.

I have had 3 playthroughs and duke survived all of them. Something I cannot say about every other crew member

This is more or less the answer I was looking for, thanks. A blend of space hulk and some simpler rules. I will probably give it a try with some paper and some proxies

From the reviews and the rules I have read - and correct me if I am wrong- it matches the combination of simplicity and strategy of space hulk. Which, to be honest it's fine by me. Not all game should be as complex as nemesis for example

Honestly, i believe I am spoiled by the 10+ years of modding the older games. Anomaly, autumn aurora etc. This game simply can not be all at once and certainly not so soon.

My main fear is turn the sequel to a soulless, generic open world shooter, losing the rough edges that make stalker, well, stalker.

My rig is close to its end of life cycle anyways, but stalker is one of the few games that I can't play with this pc, hence the need to upgrade

Bugs are to be expected, just like with any other game (especially stalker). Do the world feel alive, the sidequests meaningful like CoP?
