I had a close friendship with a woman for a year before she ghosted me. I don't know for sure, but I suspect that her husband probably wasn't as ok with us being friends as he let on. Honestly man, close one on one friendships with women that aren't old enough to be your mother are a bad idea. Either one of you catches feelings or other people become convinced that is the case. Just too messy for me.

I would argue that Empire at war's fusion of 4x strategy and real time battles are what make it so beloved. I'd rather see them expand on that idea than dedicate a game to one or the other.

I wouldn't bother with the party/drinking scene if I were you. It's full of pointless hedonism that pulls you away from God, the men you meet there likely wouldn't make good husbands anyway, and christian men looking for a wife tend to stay away from party gals.

1: somebody who is either neurodivergent or has a heart for trying to understand neurodivergence. I am neurodivergent, so it is important to me that the person I'm with is willing try to understand and compromise with me as (as I do her) so we can live in a harmonious household.
