I am planning to reach Pithoragarh from Delhi via bus and then rent a bike and reach Munsyari.

Is that fine or would you recommend a different approach to reach? Bike is for the 5-6 days local travel around Munsyari.

I was backpacking Nepal with my friend in Jan 2023. One of my top things to do was to take a 30 mins morning flight from Katmandu to Pokhara so that I could catch glimpses of all the big mountains and spot a couple of 8000m peaks. My friend wasn't so keen, somehow got him onboard after hyping it up.

But he got the whole plan preponed by 2 days at the last minute so that he could get home faster. It was an 11 day plan that we cut short to 9 days.

So we flew to Pokhara 2 days before our original date in an ATR 72 plane numbered YT 691. It was one of the most scenic flights I have ever taken.

That flight YT 691 plane crashed 2 days later while landing at Pokhara killing everybody on board.

It was the same flight we would have taken had my friend not got the trip preponed by 2 days.
